YOUR FILM Test Scene by Ashwin Nair | RGV

- PROCESS OF AUDIENCE POLLING FOR YOUR FILM COMPETITION
The audience polling for the shortlisted 11 directors and 9 music directors will start soon.
For the 11 directors, 3 polls will be parallelly posted (4+4+3) on the TH-cam Community tab. After watching the director's test scenes, the audience can click on the name of the director ( whose scene they like the most ) to vote.
RGV Sir had given the following narrative for the test scene.
“Don’t torture me with the delay ..Just Shoot me?” Gupta whispers
Guru braces himself shuts his eyes and is about to press the trigger
Suri sharply says “You have to keep your eyes open and look at the man you are killing “
Guru opened his eyes and looking into Gupta’s eyes took a deep breath and shoots
Gupta’s body is thrown backward
Guru rubs his shoulder from the pistol kick and looks at Suri for approval
Suri puts his hand on Guru’s shoulder and presses it in appreciation
“You passed the test “ Suri says and Guru breaks into tears of gratitude and Suri hugs him to console him even as Gupta’s dead eyes stare at them
WE REQUEST THE AUDIENCE TO VOTE FOR THE BEST DIRECTOR BASED ON THE TEST SCENES, ONLY WITH REGARDS TO THE INTERPRETATION OF THE NARRATIVE, CREATIVITY AND THE ABILITY TO BRING OUT THE BEST FROM THE ACTORS. PLEASE DO NOT JUDGE BASED ON THE PRODUCTION VALUES AS THEY WERE NOT PROVIDED ANY FINANCIAL RESOURCES. THAT WAS THE REAL TEST.

Camera work is good but color pallet or gradients looks off
direction, cinematography, editing, nailed guys.. One of the best from all films.
Editing,shot selection, performance, use of bgm, continuety etc....not good. Overall there is no life in the scene. Emotions dominanted by technicalities.

My Unbiased Feedback as a Viewer on Your Creative Work

All departments are extremely creative , it's High quality cinematic products, i want to see you guys a larger then life subject brother one more thing suri character acted like pro keep it up brother 🤝
Reminded the epitome of RGV , though minor setbacks there in realistic presentation of minute materials and color details. They were masked by highly creative taking , BGM and dialogue delivery. Keep it up.
Cinematography is good. But too many close up shots and fast cuts. He should've build the tension by slow steady shots first.
Very good I think this man is eligible to take a feature film more than his dreams of voice....
