So this is how the Vietnamese people do it , it’s made into Pattie’s the size of a 1/4 pound burger, they add vegetable oil and chopped green onion mixed throughly, and are fried to a crispy outside, it’s called Cha Ca’, they be eaten with rice vermicelli noodles, salad,and viet style fish sauce, or sandwiches, and yes used as fish balls boiled in soup , good stuff 👍🏼

I caught 5 giant lady fish today and a fellow boater told me to throw them back so I did . I could’ve had ladyfish for dinner .

One tip while cleaning lady fish is to scale them first, if you don't you'll most likely get scales in your meat
