This sounds like there is NOTHING fake here, the way these guys play is very REAL. To find someone that can cover the Marriott vocal range, is rare. I tried it once by hitting my thumb with a hammer, but, even that wasn't enough to increase my upper vocal range.
I saw these guys a year or so ago in a small club in Harlow. They were VG but Steve Marriott was unique and impossible to copy. They come close though and are well worth a look see.
They have got a CD out as the Small Fakers if you can find it. The also play their own music, which is excellent, under the name The Vera's, might be worth checking them out too.
Classic stuff ,good covers band,faithfill to the orriganal,And the guitarest is wearing the same red trousers and two tone shoes as Steve does in the song on here *Song of a baker*

Very good and interesting revivals of these 2 classics songs of the Small Faces. The Small Fakers have a deserved success, cause they are really good.

Might be the best "tribute" band out there. A shame no USA dates, the joy of a sing a long to such a high quality performance would be magnificent!
