There's no way I could have had the patience to wait 2 months to play with such a cool rig. I have no idea how fuel powered RC's are setup but I guess you need to dedicate one day for doing that. Great job on the video. You covered the car quite well and provided insight to those of us on the edge of deciding to go with a fuel powered RC. 👍

Thanks my first 5th scale. Family hates it, just to loud for them. I will be getting another one for sure. Found out today loose cut grass is just to much for cooling fan. Thanks for watching 👍

@@rcjourney8080 haha I've had the same problem mate !! They're loud but that just adds to the fun . I find I'm already planning my next upgrade before I've installed the previous one . But fixing them is half fun for sure . 👍

Why does it say Royfun on the side? It's not a Rovan? Looks cool btw

Lol not to sure this is my first 1/5 figured I would go with a cheap roven. Other videos are the same must be different versions. Still need to make running video 😂

@@rcjourney8080 quick question. How are they when it comes to maintaining them? I have plenty of RC Cars...just zero experience with any petrol Cars. Do you constantly have to screw with the motor?

Haven messed with it after break in. Everything seems fine. Identical to a 2stroke 4 wheeler.

Hey man that engine is a 32cc not a 36 cc because of the port covers the 36 cc do not have those screws on the side

I'm just getting back into this hobby , I'm good with engines and such , I grew up on quads and dirtbikes, ect ....
But I'm lost when it comes to this stuff and how some of it works , I'm getting better just cause I'm decent with my hands .....
BUT I WAS WONDERING SHOULD I BUY THIS OR GO EITH A LOSI DBXL ( THE RED K&N ONE WITH THE K&N AIR FILTER ) THATS $900 ????
I KNOW THERE TO DIFFERENT ANIMALS, ONES REAR WHEEL DRIVE AND A BLAST FOR MESSING AROUND , THE LOSI 4WD BETTER FOR RACING ..... ONLY THING I DONT LIKE ON THE LISI IS THE 23CC ENGINE ....

Can anyone let me know I’ve got my Baja at home cane today but I’m very concerned it’s gonna be exactly the same as my nitro we’re you have to tune it every second or is that not the case do I need to even mess about with any tune before starting it up for first time and should I install a kill switch before starting it up

Hey .... I had a question for you ... I'm considering buying this buggy , some people say to get a King Motor cause its better then Rovan but ... im guessing they are the same company cause they have the same phone numbers ... I know there basic a lot clones of HPI ... and all compatible with each other.......
Anyway I was wondering how this buggy is doing since you had it ??? I can buy the Rovan 36cc right now for about $565
I went on King Motor website and tried to buy it from them but it says there out of stock. And I joined the waiting list it had to click on but I don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon .....

Sry to get back so late got a lot of stuff going on. I love this buggy and if you spend the time to break the motor in it screams. My only problem is the front tires kick up a lot of grass and the motor eventually ends up sucking it in and you have to be very careful in between runs to clean the grass so the motor can still breathe they tried preventing it you can tell by putting guards in the way but I've learned not to drive it on freshly cut grass

to answer your question no they are the same. it's just that the km 002 variant the ported is better than the 30.5cc rovand as it comes with more upgrade. but I personally would go for the rovan stealth baja

Do you recommend 25:1 or 40:1 I see lots of people tell me 25:1 including the seller but some tell me 40:1

    • @Rcguy2591
      @Rcguy2591 ปีที่แล้ว

Absolutely do not use 40:1 you will burn up the motor
