Thanks for making this a video, Wowie Zowie it’s a dumb walk-through channel! it’s sad that 5b won’t be play-able for much longer because Adobe Flash Player has been discontinued :( but, for the rest the time that TH-cam exists, future people will be able to know and enjoy what the game was supposed to be! 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

With modification of the games code. you can see all the freesmart members, they were meant to be playable and they have different stats:
Pencil could jump slightly higher than match.
Bubble could jump really high but pops when she touches a wall.
Ruby jumps slightly lower than other freesmart members.
Really interesting! Though I can kinda see why they were scrapped, as they sound either redundant or hard to design around tbh
Plus playing as 6 characters at once might be one heck of a challenge heh

its possible the bonus levels mightve been following golf ball, tennis ball and rocky who were also in evil leafy, but we might never know for sure

just speculation, of course, but i think its pretty viable

Great video! Honestly, I wouldn't watch any walkthrough of this game as I'd like to finish it myself, but when I got to level 28 it's completely messed up. Well, not completely, it's just that the yellow platforms on the right and the conveyer belt is nonexistent. It's probably because I use Ruffle flash extension, but idk. Thanks to this tho I now know how the whole game goes!

i had to look up guides for a good amount of win tokens and i died many, MANY times trying to record these which thankfully are all cut out due to the MAGIC OF EDITING
in other words i hate this game with a passion and i dread the possibility of it being continued at some point because that would mean id have to do this all again

If the whole bfdia 5 series would be full then it will be a 100 minutes and 96 seconds, or 1,66666667 hours and 96 seconds. Thats all the calculations i could do and i couldnt go any furthur.

I call BS. Although the HPRC mechanic is really cool, pretty much everything else is bad. Apart from the lack of voice acting, there are NO sound effects (absolutely inexcusable), the level doesn't even restart when you die (yes, you have to press the R button to restart a level), and many of the win tokens are *very* frustrating to get because they either require a significant amount of time to get or they're just precise timing with a fast-moving spike (not good level design). Even some of the levels themselves feel like a chore to get through. I tried to get through the game myself before watching this video, but I got too frustrated and gave up. I do not regret doing so, as I could see that I would've *really* struggled with some of the later levels and their WTs.
Who knows, maybe I've just gotten spoiled with actually good games like Fez or Celeste.

I was playing this game and gave up on level 17. It's so hard!

bfdia 5b: its a game
I can take the Win Token in level 12 "Pillar 2", but every time I try to get out of the place where it is, sometimes Book hits the ceiling and falls in the spikes and sometimes I can't reach the next cliff. I managed to get past it one time, but then I fell somewhere that I couldn't escape from so I had to restart the level and play again.
I couldn't take the Win Token in level 23 "Ground level" because the hazard moving behind it moves too fast, but later I managed to collect it without the hazard touching me.
I couldn't take the Win Token in level 32 "I need you for something" because it's somewhere near the spikes on the top left corner and I didn't know how to reach it without falling in the spikes, but then I remembered that I could recover the other person with the Hand-powered Recovery Center.
I can't take the Win Token in level 37 "Match Filter" because it's somewhere near the acid monsters, and Book can't throw Match over them when they lower down or vice versa because then one of them would die, and the HPRC is not there to recover them later.
I couldn't take the Win Token in level 39 "Oceanic divide" because it's standing somewhere near the spikes on the ceiling, and there's nothing Book or Match can hold to reach it without touching them, but then I remembered that one of them could throw the other person when they get slightly lower away from the spikes. The HPRC is also not in this level to recover one of them after they die.
I don't know how to take the Win Token in level 41 "Liquify" because I can't take the boxes to climb to the section above the end because I need to put them on the lava to pass through.
