Hi, I am 34 and completed btech ece in 2008 and am working in IT for 10 yrs now.. If I attempt gate now and manage to do mtech VLSI in IITs or NITs can I get placed in good core companies or will my gap after btech and IT background be a problem. Plz respond
It is relatively dynamic to answer. Doing MTech will bridge gap mostly, but still you shall be considered as entry level in core company. Some companies might not take due to too much gap. I can’t answer it clearly but it’s a risk you need to take if you are ok with it.

it doesnt affect your MTECH but you need to have a good knowledge with existing technology in core no issues with the gap in it
