I asked for the water with ice and I got it when I visited China. Don’t say that you can’t get cold water. China is so much better in terms of traffic regulation and and flow than many of other Asian countries and cities such as Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia and Taiwan. Cities in Australia are too small to compare with Beijing or other big cities in China. If you are in smaller cities in China, you would not see so many fencing structures. How many places in Asia have you been? I feel that Asian people are better traveled than white people for those with the same economic status.
A lot of people came here with that prejudices, cant balme all on them since antichina propaganda just main stream for the west, but if one is struggling one should go home.
In fact, tap water anywhere in the world is not drinkable. The water coming out of the water plant is clean, but if the water pipes have been buried underground for decades, they are definitely not clean. Therefore, the biggest factor that determines the quality of tap water is the construction time of underground pipes. If your city is very old, the water must be dirty.
China is the safest country in the world!! Many vulnerable groups, including women and children, feel safer due to the presence of cameras. That's why women walk the streets even late at night. Do you envy a country like the United States where you don't know when you'll be attacked, when you'll be looted, or when you'll die, and where people hide in their homes out of fear when it gets dark?
The thing about Americans, Brits, Canadians and Australians is that they're completely sure that they're superior to Chinese people, and so for them, China is just an inferior country that can't compare to their own countries. There's nothing that anyone can do to change the minds of those people because they simply have a belief of superiority and China just can't cut it for them. The French and Italian are like that too, but I guess not to the degree of people from the Anglo-Saxon countries.
😁😁😁I am mainlander Chinese and been living in Australia for almost 2 decades. I love both countries for different reasons. Taking my 12 year old son back to China to show him how developed , clean and humongous China is. ❤ 🇨🇳 I don’t want to look down on anyone but thane to understand, not too many Australian can afford to travel overseas and of course they would love to think they are better. On the contrary, so many Chinese have seen the world and that has given us broader insights and perspectives. Btw, he might not be speaking of the truth about how he really felt. The wife 👍👍👍 If anyone is really proud of their own country like me, I would just give a laugh about it.
In Chinese philosophy everything in the world have opposing yin and yang elements! Same apply to your body, foods fuel your body, we also assign cooling/warming property! Like Apple vs pineapple for example! Cold water is harmful and warm water is health promoting! Hence the practice! My take is drinking soda vs drinking warm tea may not proof anything in short term, but if you stretch to 60 years of doing it one should wonder effect on ones body can never discounted! Just personal thought!
In Singapore where I live, there are cameras everywhere. I love it! I feel safer. The ones who probably don’t like the cameras are criminals or would be criminals. Go to London or NYC, there are cameras everywhere too.
@@sams-lo6lc Not every second of the day, silly! I have my privacy at home. I don’t mind some stranger watching me walk, cross the road or watch me eat. They do the same in London, NYC, Berlin, Sydney, etc. 😂
The railings on the street are guardrails. Their main purpose is to ensure safety, firstly, to prevent motor vehicles or non-motor vehicles from accidentally rushing onto the sidewalk, and to prevent pedestrians from being accidentally pushed into the driveway. This is common in East Asian countries. Japan and South Korea will install them on the street side of densely populated sidewalks. Of course, you think of them as devices to protect people crossing the street. There is nothing wrong with that!
I have seen many travel vlogs of different countries. Compared with the United States and the United Kingdom, Australians usually have a stronger prejudice against China. I have seen 10 videos of Australian youtubers, and almost all the descriptions of China are the same as you. This proportion is about one-tenth among Americans.
That’s very interesting. Why do you think that may be? I’ve always assumed it would be the other way around given the higher percentage of Chinese and Asian people living in Australia compared to US
In China, foreigners should adopt a sense of ‘ fast pace’. You are in a holiday and enjoy the relaxing, but don’t slow others down. Be quick if you are in the way, move faster. If you could not keep up with the pace, please wait until the busy bees fly off.
this is a great video as it pretty well sums up a lot in just one video. Would like to visit China someday BUT .... will have to be a guided tour 😎Watching and sharing. Cheers from just another aussie
Just hire a local private guide instead of going in group tours. Costs more but you'll have a lot more freedom to see what you're interested in at your pace.
Always good to experience the ambience of Beijing and other big cities in China. Oz cities will not be able to come up to scratch, insulated, too much politicising when it comes to infrastructures!!😝 l m still waiting for Badgerry Creek airport to operate (30 odd years l was in Sydney, still too much argy bargy!!)😄😄
The reason cars are tinted in China is to block UV rays and not want to be seen by cars next to them when waiting at traffic lights. Australia has a small population, so there are not many cars waiting at traffic lights, and the UV rays are not as strong as in Beijing😂😂
Maybe he hasn't been to London which has tons of cameras - and of course, they wouldn't call them surveillance cameras - they just pussyfoot and call them safety cameras if they are in the West.....

Australia tape water is not drinkable according to Chinese water safety standards, however it is much safer then drinking the rainwater as what they do years ago. A local friend of mine shared a bottle of rainwater with me. After I showed him a documentary on rainwater, he stopped giving rainwater to friends as gifts. They just need more education 😂
