How about naming your new shawl “Snowbird”? That’s what it reminds me of. It’s a beautiful shawl. I’d like to make it.
Can you show how you anchor your floats if they’re going to be to long? I’m knitting a sweater that has long areas of stitches then one to three stitches in between so they need to catch the floats.
On the kittens can’t you do duplicate stitch for the different kittens. I make dolls & I use batting from Walmart. You could use your scraps & make them blankets. I think the sleepy kittie KAL would be great fun…😊

I love the whole yoke of the new sweater design, but especially the star. Also, I really appreciate a shawl with long ends. Like you, I much prefer a shawl that actually stays on! Merry Christmas!
