Great guide. Is there any guide to show us how to judge pitches from the batters perspective, especially for those of us new to the MLB The Show series? Thanks.
Awesome video man
Neat video. Definitely helpful if someone were to create a pitcher in RTTS.
Great Vid! I believe that is a Running FB. Not a Rolling FB.
Nice Vid!
Awesome thanks
1. Is there any difference between the Palmball and the Change-Up or Splitter
2. Whats the difference between the Knucklecurve and a usual Curveball apart from less break
Did you remove the order of pitches in the video from the description?
I love having a 2 seam, 4 seam, circle change, and a knuckle curve. For my starter( I throw all of this in real life too ;)
Is it Rolling or Running fastball? I thought it was the latter.
It's running, he had an annotation stating that on the version of this video on his own channel ;D
Sports Gaming Universe Oh ok, cool. Cool video for sure. Maybe another video idea would be to take it a step further and offer up his ideas of the best possible combos to start with in RTTS
Throw the good ol uncle Charlie
no eephus
If the pitch makes the batter strike out then is not a bad boy
Is a good boy because is helping you win the game
So please no discrimination for the poor defenseless baseball ok nigga :)
Lol wainwright vs wainwright
FIRST
Very misleading title.....
Important tip: When you make an RTTS pitcher (especially a starter) the make up of your pitch selection is one of the most important things. Having multiple directions of break and varying gears of velocity to go to will make you deadly on the mound. 4 fastballs and a change isn't exactly going to make batters nervous.
Great call. So important. Gotta be able to change speeds and eye levels so you gotta be careful not to have like a 5 MPH split between your heater and change (for example a sinker and forkball start at 94 / 89 split) or have everything break down (like sinker, vulcan, and 12-6 for example) making it harder to go up in the zone. Sure you can throw a sinker up in the zone, but then breaks down into the happy zone.
Cool video idea for sure!
Definitley right, my pitcher has a knucleball 4sfb and vulcan change, i thought the cpu was going to not be able to hit it but they hit it a lot, so to all the rtts pitchers i advise against the knuckler, but against your freinds it itls really frustrating
You may be pitching it wrong because the meter is the best you have to take it all the way beck to the red and time it for the line
