Out of so many Qin Shi Huang drama, this is the best with a lot of details, adhering to historical facts without making dramatic scenes etc. Just sadly that the rating is way too low for its quality especially in China. Hong Kong version about Qin will demonized Ying Cheng to be brutal king but in this drama it shows more logically and sensible side of Ying Cheng. The drama gets better towards later stage. The best part is the section where most of the Ying family / clan insist to throw out immigrants and took important position by themselves (looks exactly what USA is doing now in modern day, protectionism) Enjoy the drama to the end
I love this show. It is so good. It showed the perspective of the Emperor and what he had to deal with at the time. I remember watching other shows that showed him as a bad Emperor which I now know is false.
Why is the civilian running around like morons? Why are the soilders just standing around on top of the wall?....not real. Just hide behind the parapet of the walls 😂

去了西安的兵馬俑博物館，除了兵馬，指揮部，最深印象便是那两兵馬車了，回頭來，數一數七雄，韓.趙.魏三個是由晉分裂出來的，齊.楚.秦三個較強，加上一個弱燕，七個。再看這個版本的秦統一，歷經秦四代，數清楚各個王与同期的人物，真是好看極了!

也许他是暴君，但功业无可否认，第一次做到的人，或激励后世。欧洲没有统一过，就是没人能做到过。而中国分裂后总是有人要统一，偏安一隅的政权在中国历史评价都很低，且最终会被灭。这只是政治影响，加上文化影响（书同文），那他就是千古一帝。生活在他的时代当然苦，为了他的功业，凭啥让我这代人受苦？这也是人们骂毛的逻辑，可是后人受益了啊，所以后人还是记得他的功劳。
