As a Royal Engineer stationed in Germany in the 70s/80s loved hearing the 104 Starfighters ripping along the Wesser...they had a sound of their own...👍👍
Beautiful….The look of this Aircraft is extraordinary….What was it like to fly??? Never had the chance😢. Vielen Dank fuer das video? Addendum: Jesus, love your Bavarian ‘Lederhosen’ at the end!
I would say He was Royal Canadien Air Force. They had a base in Germany. Nostalgia for me, I was a member 123 JaBog 32 Lechfeld from 1964 -67. We also trained together in Decimomannu AFB Sardinia. in ~1965 I followed with a 10 minute separation still flying F-84Fs a Canadian 2ship 104G flight out of Deci back to Germany . One of their 104s had a catastrophic emergency and forced the pilot to bail out over water north of Alghero/Sardinia. I had heard the emergency call on Guard and decided to search for their pilot. Flying a search pattern I noticed fishing boats heading out except one heading back to shore and on its bow a wet pilot was waving his yellow May West at me . I buzzed the boat rocking my wings went back to Deci and reported my findings to his commander. Their other pilot had continued on to Hahn/ AFB Germany. Decimomannu AFB was a joint Italian, Canadien and German gunnery training base Horrido to Ken Carvosso!
This is golden

I was there flying RF-4C's....great time to be flying in Germany.
Two aircraft to put the fear of God into you…the 104 and the A10.
Beauty and the beast!
Tear to my eye to see this beauty retired.
TY for sharing F-104 Viz.
I would think the Germans would not celebrate the last flight of the 'coffin'. It just proved they couldn't handle this fighter.

Fantastic, thanks for this video but at the same time still 💔
Der schönste Jet der Welt.....
Thank you for showing use this nice film.

Thanks for posting ES.
Crikey Ken. Just like a Top Gun scene.

Is there more such footage with the "Königin"?

+Prellbock49 Erwachseneninkontinenzmaterial. ;)
@@r0tb3rt A “soggy bottom” moment.
Bellissimo video grazie Luftwaffe proprio come la nostra AM uguale
Good old Times, very nice movie.
For the scene at 10:30 you should change the title of Ken. POW is known as Prisoner of War. Just a kind remark.
+worldbestpilot I think that's the joke, just a bit of typical military humour. ;-)
+Justyn Keeble :)) !!!

So... you could say... this was ..... "the last starfighter" :D XD..only old movie buffs will understand
I go to air cadets and ken the pilot came in so I got to talk to him
Ken Carvosso is an RAF pilot?
