I have heard so many great things about Ren and his latest release "Hi Ren" and it's one of those times that I put everything else away, and focus on what this community craves. Not only was I stupified, but the emotional constriction this video holds you with leaves such a lasting impression. Don't worry, I've already filmed my next Ren analysis. Yes, I'm that taken by Ren!
Ren is the best storyteller today, and he uses music to bring them to life. These are some that will blow your mind. "The Tale of Jenny and Screech". "Money Game, Part One", "Money Game, Part Two", "Money Game, Part Three", "Suicide", "For Joe", "Animal Flow", "Sick Boi", and "Chalk Outlines"

I love this song, and I love finding new people discovering Ren's music for the first time. He is a very diverse musician. I'm sure you'll find lots of things that resonate with you. He is a deep thinker and unusually open hearted. When he reached a million subscribers on TH-cam earlier this year he put out a short thank you video which sums up what kind of person he is. It's worth watching.
My first recommendation would be the Tale of Jenny and Screech. It's a trilogy of related tales, and best to listen to them all together in the full 13 minute video.
Other solo highlights for me include the Money Game trilogy, Sick Boi, Seven Sins, Genesis, Power. One from quite a while back which I love is called Crutch.
He used to be in a band called the Big Push, and he has also done some excellent collaborations with Chinchilla, Sam Tompkins and Eden Nash, amongst others.

Wonderful commentary. Ren us such an inspiration. He intends to create a space of acceptance for the "invisible" peopke who suffer in isolation from mental and physical illness. He was housebound snd bedbugs for almost a decade with misdiagnosed Lyme disease and all the complications of autoimmunity and brain and body damage that goes with it including MCAS.
In music, he crosses all genres with his genius. He is music and also a kind and empathic soul ,who is pushing for change in our divided society.

Ren went years misdiagnosed with depression bi polar chronic fatigue syndrome he had a recording deal in 2010 with Sony why working on his album he got sick so they parted ways he moved back to whales he got so sick he became bedridden for up 23 hours a day it would take years before he get the right diagnosis he has Lyme disease he went so long misdiagnosed that he has brain damage Organ damage and Joint damage he has had stem cell therapy done he in Canada right now getting treatment he has to have IV 5 days a week they put this thing on his head that help open path ways in his brain he takes hand full meds 2 times a day he can only eat like 2 Kind of beef and few vegetables everyday because the autoimmune causes him to have allergic reaction to just about everything he eats he has ADHD too the meds they had him on for the depression bi polar and chronic fatigue caused him to have psychosis he got PTSD but not from meds Ren play drum bass piano guitar produces mixes his own beats beatboxes sings and raps he from UK he had number 1 album in October
