- Here is the full MS Windows startup and shutdown sounds. Many of them are incorrectly placed these sounds, the Chicago is TADA sound, not Windows 95 startup sound, the Memphis startup sound is correctly Windows 95 startup sound, not Windows 98 startup sound. The first beta of Windows Whistler is not Whistler startup sounds, it must be Windows 2000 startup sound.
Here is the made ups: Windows 93, Windows NT 3.11, Windows 94, Windows 96 (commonly Nashville), Windows 97, Windows MF (MarioGPlayer90) and Windows Trident

I survived:

Tada is going to be stuck in my head
TADAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Lol
like a song From stuck in my head by TWICE
私の最初のオペレーティングシステムはWindows98でした!思い出・・・
How come no one plays the Windows 98 shutdown Tada, it sounded like the earlier ones except more stronger in tone. I swear it's amazing how somethings get lost over time.
I'm playing Windows 7 Solitaire game on my PC while listening to this. Nothing can be more satisfying.
I LOVE this video! Great job!
I remember the first time I watched this video, it was summer of 2009 and I was 10 years old... I was so fascinated with this. =D
I Love your logos that you got there. I am learning about Microsoft Windows again! #Microsoft
Actually, it sounds like Windows 2000 Beta 3's first builds used Windows NT 5.0's shutdown sound you used in this video as its startup sound.
And its shutdown sound? I think it is a scary sound.
At 1:24, is that '4' in Windows 94 painted in there? lol
Ya
yeah
yeah 1:24
WINDOWS 7 will be remembered by all like everyone does for XP
I've traveled through time!!!
2:42 THE REAL BOOT UP SOUND
Microsoft Codename Millennium didn't use 2000 (RTM) and Beta 3 build startup and shutdowns, instead, they used 98.
this is the highest quality windows startup and shutdown sounds video i can find
The first video of the windows never released series
chicago and memphis is have 95 sounds
windows 2000/me beta is have me sounds
and all whistlers have xp sounds
Whistler builds 2267----->2416 (4:52----->5:04),build 2419 (not in this video),builds 2428------------>2469 (5:17----->5:30) and XP builds 2474 and 2475 have 2000 sounds, Whistler Server later Beta 2 and .NET Server Beta 3 RC1 and RC2 have I think XP sounds
And longhorn has XP sounds as well
You're sure there's a 1989-2001 Microsoft Windows logo.
Wow, they were pretty proud of that TADA sound...
It seems like you might have been the first one to put the Codename Startup & Shutdown in a YT vid
My god i realy miss WinXP Sounds #WinXPSoundsIMiss
And Longhorn Sounds
yes i think... i think it was released
***** it was a never released beta for vista so its pretty much vista before it came out.
It feels like I listened to a weeks worth of being the family tech support. Ah, the memories!
You forgot to say that the first beta of Windows Whistler has the Windows 2000 format. A problem is that the Windows Longhorn Shutdown has some modem sounds.
*Waits for Windows Longhorn to show up*
*It does show up xD*
*screams happilly*Thank you!!!*falls off chair*
Windows 1.x and 2.x actually do have a startup sound. It's BEEEEEEEEEEEEEP
Sometimes it'll run out of memory and just won't start.
It does only with incorrect dos versions. With dos 2.x or 3.x (or with setver) it works normally.
#do_not_install_windows_1_on_msdos_622
At least Windows Server 2003 has a correct startup sound.
Here is the made ups: Windows 93, Windows NT 3.11, Windows 94, Windows 96 (commonly Nashville), Windows 97, Windows MF (MarioGPlayer90) and Windows Trident

So many mistakes, but maybe at 2009 it is still a mystery...
There's a 1989-1999 Microsoft Windows logo.
I saw the word Nihon-go (which means Japanese) in the Windows 3.2 logo.
You mean the opposite. Windows XP is banished from my house.
I wish Microsoft would have come up with a new sound for the final release of Windows 7.
This is what I was looking for. I WANT MISTAKES
3:26 2000 had the most classic sounds from my childhood.
3:26
I'm so glad I grew up in the 90's. The time of constant computer growth. God damn hearing those sounds brings me back to a time of joy and cheap everything. I would give all to go back and live that life again..
