Zebraføl chippes og undersøges | Copenhagen Zoo

Efter godt 12 måneders drægtighed har en af zebrahopperne for et par dage siden født. Føllet vejer ca. 30 kg. Ved fødslen og vil die i op til et år. Som alle andre dyr der fødes i Zoo skulle føllet undersøges og chippes af dyrlægen.

After about 12 months of gestation one of the zebra mares in Copenhagen Zoo have given birth. The foal weighs approximately 30 kg. at birth and will suckle up to one year. Like all animals born in the zoo the foal had to be examined and chipped by the vet.
