Here are some answers to some questions you were asking through the video. 1) 3:40 The voices used are actual voice lines from the game, some of which were spliced together for the narrative. Most fan TF2 films do this and the in-game dialogue is extremely versatile for splicing that you can pretty much make the character say anything you want with some finesse. So technically yes, these are the original voice actors, it's just their game dialogue mixed with some audio effects like the echo. 2) 8:00 The hat with green flames is what the game calls an "Unusual" hat. Cosmetics with Unusual quality is only obtained by opening a cosmetic crate with a key that can be bought for $2.50 plus tax in the game (or from the Steam Market between players or traded), and the odds of obtaining an unusual cosmetic is roughly 1%. Unusuals are known for their particle effects that emit from the hat or accessory, and there are many different possible effects depending on the crate series. Because of how rare these cosmetics are, they're traded and sold between players using either real money or the in-game economy of metals and crate keys, and the rarer the hat and particle effect, the more expensive the item. And we're talking either $15 or hundreds of dollars depending on the hat and particles. 3) 10:10 Because the game consists of just 9 classes and games typically consist of 12 players per team, it's common to see more than one of the same classes. It kinda evolved over time that you can give each character their own personality, akin to how players can be the same class if they so choose. So in SFM animations, you can assume that multiple instances of the same class are different people. So that engineer with the beer belly is different from the engineer whose sentry got sapped. 4) 10:40 A continuation of the previous point, multiple players can pick the same class if they want and the server allows it. That scene, in particular, is homage a bit of a running joke in the community that you might find games where a team is running too many snipers than necessary, and yet it appears none of them are actually contributing to the team (they all keep missing, have poor awareness, tunnel visioning, standing in one place the whole game). Sniper in particular is a popular and notorious class because he's the only class in the game that can instantly kill anyone from any range with a scoped headshot, even close range if they're skilled enough or hacking. 5) 17:15 Apart from being the demolition expert of the roster, Demoman is known for also being really deadly with a sword. Heck, he even owns a possessed claymore called the Eyelander. In the game, Demoman has a couple of swords he can use in exchange for the default bottle as his melee weapon. Combined with the shields that can replace his default sticky bomb launcher and boots that replace the grenade launcher, Demoman can opt to be the "Demoknight", a melee-focused sub-class that fights exclusively by charging right at opponents while swinging his melee weapon. As sub-classes go, this is the most famous of them all and thus has made numerous appearances in TF2 fan films. 6) 19:26 Spy has a small handful of cloaking devices at his disposal. One of which is called the Dead Ringer, a pocket watch that allows him to fake his death when hit and then instantly turn invisible for a short time for a speedy getaway. It has the drawback of emitting a loud noise when becoming visible again, however, which can alert enemies that the spy is still alive and nearby. 7) 20:00 That man is Grey Mann, the missing third brother of the Mann brothers. He owns an entire army of robotic doppelgangers of the mercenaries and is the sole reason why the Mann vs. Machine game mode exists. Glad you enjoy the video! @@HannaHsOverInvested Team Fortress 2 is famous for having a absolutely, positively MASSIVE amount of soundbites that can be extracted from the game files, and many SFM fan animators use them in order to make them “talk” in their movies.
The Sniper tends to receive less attention than other characters in these SFM fan animations, although if you want to watch one that centers around him, “Hitman Havoc” is a short one that really does him justice. BTW, what happened with the Spy at the end in which he got exploded but survived nontheless is that he was using an equipable item from the game called The Dead Ringer (it’s the golden pocket watch) that allows him to fake his own death by throwing a decoy at the same time that he becomes invisible, although it makes a very loud and recognizable noise when he decloaks again.
First of all, I just want to say that Fanmade animations don't show gameplay, they usually create their own story based on the characters in the game or the story of the game, which they develop or modify a little bit. I want to recommend the Tribute animation, I think you might like it (it only has 5 minutes) but it tell's interesting story. There are lots of great animations some are simply for amusement and some have a very good and profound story. For example, I like Dedect_ , Lil' Guardian Pyro, Tf2 vs Overwatch 1, 2 or The Art of Spychecking. I'll be very happy if you react to any of them, but I'm not forcing you. I recommend you the Team Neighboorhood series, it's fan-made and "curiously" funny. I think it's a great start to fan-made animations. Have a great day. If you want some context for this animation by "The Winglet" here it is: Once Spy has captured the blue intelligence, blue team decides to get it back. After an epic battle battle of the red and blue mercs resulting in a red victory, blue team has made a blue "Bolted Behemoth" _(go watch that btw)_ to kill of the red forces as a backup. All but 3 (Spy, Soldier, and Scout) survived, but the pyro managed to get it back and return it to blue base What you don't understand in this episode: Blutarch is basically the blue merc's boss, but they are working for Graymann, who wants to take over Mann Co. (Run by the ultimate buff Australian man, Saxton Hale, he runs the business that supplies the ammo and guns for red and blue) with his unstoppable blue robot army. Once blutarch was killed, they decided to go with operation "Bolted Behemoth" which I'm pretty sure is "kill all of red and get the intelligence" (that's why it was labeled sorta, and the dead engineer was the creator of said robot) Blu robot army is "potentially" created, which leaves to the last step, take over mann. co. Little note: Each merc has their own cosmetics and their own unique weapons they are known for. That's why some of them have hats, others have interesting hair, and wield obscure weapons like swords or at times laser guns. Continuation: The red, the blue, the ugly (After the 2 year wait, it's finally made, but I won't spoil the actual story) To put it shortly, this is how Mann Vs. Machine SHOULD HAVE started. Major Edit: This just a fan-animation that uses the characters and the lore itself, not actually canon towards the "Meet the Team."
The TF2 Community put a lot of their heart and soul into making things like this, it's honestly wonderful to see plenty of others enjoy it. The next video Winglet did is even better.

5:23 if you wanna see a story protagonized by the Sniper, there's a tf2 short called "Tribute", it was a drama finalist for the Saxxy Awards in 2014, and I must say it's pretty good.
As far as the echoing of their voices go, the creator was probably modulating them to sound as they might were we to hear them having a conversation in a large metal box in real life. It’s also not the original vice actors per se, he’s not voicing it himself or paying anyone to do so, he’s mixing and matching various voice lines from the game, of which there are thousands.
These are indeed the real voice actors but those are pre-recorded voices that you use to communicate with your team better in the game. So he got those pre-recorded voices and used them in his animation. A lot! And I mean a lot! Of people do this. happy to help. Edit: these are also voice lines made by the game creators that were used in expiration date, not a lot but few. Also, sometimes, rarely though, they get the actual voice actors so it’s easier to get the lines they want.
16:45 the Spy did all this drama because the ambassador weapon needs a direct hit to the head to give a critical hit and also has some disadvantages as Accuracy decreases after the first shot. It has a short wait time in which it never causes critics and the damage is reduced to 15% and the attack speed is reduced by 20%
OH HOT DAMN SHE FINALLY GOT AROUND TO THE WINGLET"S VIDEOS! He does an awesome job of matching and editing the official voice lines to match his videos. 10:43 sniper players in-game are known for being blind and deaf to everything around them when looking down their scopes, which makes them easy to kill for anyone not right in front of them. The official TF2 videos only use the standard designs of the characters, and each team canonically has one of each character, but with The Winglet's videos, he can make an entire army out of one team with the available cosmetic items from the game.
19:27 This item is called "the Dead Ringer", it allows Spy to feign death. So that's why it looked like he got killed, but in reality he kept going while cloaked.
Also in terms of gameplay the characters are just classes. They're all the same people but more than one person can play them at a time... Story wise there is only one of each... Maybe. (Loving the editing where the camera follows your head movements)

Hannah these are fan made animations and the reason you're confused about the voice acting is because whoever made it is using audio clips that akready exist in the game and they're trying to make it work with their video idea. That's why it doesn't feel "natural", they obviously can't hire the original voice actors so this is the next best thing.

Just to let you know that these are voice lines in the game for their voices in the video. The person who created these videos did a very good job and it's very cool to see you react to it.
Some explaining for some of the stuff you may be confused by. Demoman uses medieval weapons because of the in-game subclass called the demoknight. Demoknights have a shield that lets them charge. The spy being shot at but not dying is because of an item called the Dead Ringer, which allows the spy to feign death when shot.
I enjoyed your reaction to this. There’s more videos from the Winglet that builds up the story to Live and Let Spy, its called “The Bolted Behemoth”. And that video also gives context to other videos of his called “Burning Through Space” which has 2 parts. I would like to see a reaction from you on those videos if you can!
The characters often look different (Like how the Engineer had a belly, Scout's hair and Spy's hat) due to TF2's 2500+ unique cosmetic items which allow endless customisation.
10:24 is a joke about public servers where new people pick Sniper character (bad choice for a new player btw) and are completely oblivious to their surroundings. In regular game there are no restrictions on how many players can pick the same character. In competitive community they limit 1 character per team and play 9v9.
(Sorry that I keep commenting I just like giving context to the stuff from the game) At 19:30, The spy used the Dead Ringer. Instead of turning invisible like normal, the spy fakes his own death, gains a speed boost, and is pretty much invisible to all means. On the downside, it makes a loud electrical sound when the timer on the watch runs out, which, as you can see in the film, alerts the blue medic and scout.

4:00 It's echo-ey because the room is echo-ey. In this series (yes, Wiglet made a series and this is episode 3 out of 4 plus a 2 episode spin off: respectivly: "Fedora Chronicles"; "Bolted Behemoth"; "Burning trough space 1 and 2"; this one here; and the recently "The Red the Blu and the Ugly") he uses only the game voice clips, outside from extra characters and the entire Burning trough space 2 episode
The reason why there are more of the same characters in the same team is because you can choose what character you want in the game, doesn't matter if there already is one on the team. So for example it is possible to have a team consisting of 8 snipers ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). As for what the spy did 19:25, with that pocket watch active ingame, when you take damage, it will look like you have died to the enemy team, but actually you became invisable so you can trick the enemy team. But if you don't know this it's very confusing yes. p.s. I really love your content and reactions
The voice lines are original lines from the game, they're just stitched together to make scenes and new sentences. It's a common tactic SFM creators use.
To answer your question at 8:00 That hat that the spy emerged with was an "Unusual" Killer Exclusive. (Killer Exclusive being the name of the hat.) Items with the "Unusual" Modifier are expensive and rare cosmetic items in the TF2 World, some even costing above a thousand real-life dollars. They're hats with special particle effects floating on or around them. (in some other cases, Taunts and Misc Cosmetics can be unusual too) The flames that the Killer Exclusive in this case had, were called "Scorching Flames" , which is one of the "Unusual Effects" known to be a bit more on the pricier side, as back then they could fetch a pretty penny. (Nowadays they go for about $60 and some change) Another notable fact about the Killer Exclusive is the fact that any character can wear it, leaving the possibilities for Cosmetic Combos endless.
19:26 in TF2 the spy has cloaking watches that let he get invisible for a certain amount of time, but this one is a clock that lets him fake his death by creating a decoy when he gets shot and immediately gets invisible, at the beguinning this watch didn't worked cus the decoy would spawn completelly smash so you would know it was a dead ringer (this is the name of the watch)
"This video doesn't have voice acting" It means that this video uses the original in-game voice lines with sfm and not with their original voice makers or new voices, thats why sometimes the voices sound laggy or strange. Just a tip
there's no voice acting cuz of course this is only a fan-made animation. And there's a lot of course, more than official ones the community actually controls its own game at this point because Valve don't care about TF2 at this point, we have cosmetics mostly from the workshop. I recommend you to react to the Saxxy Award animations, they are really good. Saxxy Awards are an event where SFM creators make animations and the best ones get the Saxxy Award (Basically an Oscar) I think you should react to the one called "Turbulence" from the 2015 Saxxy Awards But the voices are the original voice actors, they're just voice lines from the game (there's a lot)

These TF2 movies creatiors are very brilliant. All of the talking you heard in this video or mostly are specially recorded for the game itself or from official valve's video's. Some voice actors are active in social medias, mostly active is scout voice actor which has channel on TH-cam and i thing he's streams too. Sometimes he even record his voice specially for Creator. Oh, and in 7:58 you're been confused why that hat was on fire. The answer is: It's an unusual. Its a Hat with a special effects like fire or other stuff. They're very rare, expensive and high flex. They're like Knifes from CS:GO, but to be honest nothing beats the one of the most expensive items in TF2 *Golden Frying Pan* (it's cost around $3500 / 200 keys)
There was a competition for a while called the Saxxys where people would create animated films using Source Filmmaker. The winners got an exclusive in-game item, and so there are a lot of really good tf2 fan-made animations. The only official one you haven't watched is Jungle Inferno. Audio in fan-made animations is always going to be 1) nonexistent, 2) using lines directly from the game files, or 3) using sentence mixing, which generally sounds the derpiest and isn't used much is the higher echelons of animation.
Be sure to watch "The Red, The Blue, and The Ugly". It's the sequel to this video and is still pretty recent. Just make sure you watch "Burning Through Space" and it's second video as well to understand the end of red blue and ugly.
It's adorable how you call Sniper "Boyfriend". He is a good choice. Aside from the pissing thing, he's pretty normal and sane. I personally love Medic because I'm just weirdly into crazy fictional characters.
They are the original voice acting, they just used different words from different lines, since I dont know if you know, but end of the line and Live and let spy are not official tf2. Both of them were community created, which explains why end of the line has no voice acting.

8:02. That was an unusual hat. Basically it’s an item grade that adds particle effects to the item. In this case scorching flames, the green fire, is the effect. That’s a very valuable effect, and on a very valuable hat there, the killer exclusive. If you opened a supply crate and got that, congrats, it’s worth 330-385 keys, or $825-960 USD. (A key is roughly $2.5 USD). Yes people buy and sell these things for real money. Yes, people make a lot of money off it.
I remember somebody else reacted to this video, and also questioned the TF2 logic. And he said: "I like how nobody is aware that everyone's the same. It doesn't really matter, because if you have a different hate, that means you're a completely different person! That's how this universe works." So I think that's how people tell each other apart in the game, haha.

There is only one of everybody at a time (of each color, of course) in official "lore", but in the game you can have a full team of any one class/character. So that's why you see more than one of the same in these unofficial animations.
"Live and Let Spy" and "The RED, The BLU, and The Ugly" are fan-made films made by the youtuber The Winglet, who used SFM (Source Film Maker) to make these, Films. in these 2 in particular The Winglet only used pre-recorded voice lines that are in the game. The Winglet actually made another SFM called "Mind Games" where the Scout's Voice Actor (Nathan Vetterlein, also known as ChilliOfDestiny in TH-cam) voice acted in it, but here in "Live and Let Spy" there were no voice actors involved. Just keep in mind that Live aand Let Spy was made almost 6 years ago, and ever since Winglet hasn't stopped improving on his animating. quite an amazing fellow.
17:15 just a quick info dump but what the medieval weaponry is about is theres a very different tactic some demomen use called being a demo knight where you one of three shields that let you charge at people with differentiating stats, a sword that can help aid the shields with a headcount or something else, and boots (honestly I dont know what the boots do) it's also popular in medieval mode where you cant use guns.
There was a prequel to this one aswell, the bolted behemoth, a bit less beter quality but it is just a short meeting with everyone and why they are there
Regarding having many of the same character, in-game anyone can play any class they like, no matter who the other members of your team have picked. You can even have a full team of everyone playing the same class, if you feel like coordinating that. In fan-animations, people tend to give each character a unique set of cosmetics to differentiate them from one another, even if they're the same class. For example, two Heavies wearing different hats would be two unique characters, even though they share the same base model and voice lines.
Things you'll see in other TF2 Animations Cosmetics: aka hats, shirts, pants, hair, etc. Are kind of the only way to make characters look different. The only other way involves modeling the textures yourself I think. Soldier is dumb, in the comic's I believe he has lead poisoning or something similar from the water he was drinking? Voice acting is always either done by in game voices or some voice actors that aren't the official ones. Except scout, I believe he does some voice acting for people? 17:15 Mostly for a medieval gamemode with melee and archery only but that is a Demoknight. Demoknight is a sub class which sub classes are just normal classes with specific items. 19:20 The watch the spy is using is called the dead ringer, basically you fake death and go invis for a short time when you get hit. 23:00 That is gray mann brother of blu mann and red mann, red and blu mann are fighting for their fathers land and gray mann is trying to take it from both of them with robots. The Sniper tends to receive less attention than other characters in these SFM fan animations, although if you want to watch one that centers around him, “Hitman Havoc” is a short one that really does him justice.
BTW, what happened with the Spy at the end in which he got exploded but survived nontheless is that he was using an equipable item from the game called The Dead Ringer (it’s the golden pocket watch) that allows him to fake his own death by throwing a decoy at the same time that he becomes invisible, although it makes a very loud and recognizable noise when he decloaks again.
First of all, I just want to say that Fanmade animations don't show gameplay, they usually create their own story based on the characters in the game or the story of the game, which they develop or modify a little bit. I want to recommend the Tribute animation, I think you might like it (it only has 5 minutes) but it tell's interesting story. There are lots of great animations some are simply for amusement and some have a very good and profound story. For example, I like Dedect_ , Lil' Guardian Pyro, Tf2 vs Overwatch 1, 2 or The Art of Spychecking. I'll be very happy if you react to any of them, but I'm not forcing you. I don't want you to do anything you don't want. Also I'm sorry for my english it's not my native language.

Once Spy has captured the blue intelligence, blue team decides to get it back. After an epic battle battle of the red and blue mercs resulting in a red victory, blue team has made a blue "Bolted Behemoth" _(go watch that btw)_ to kill of the red forces as a backup. All but 3 (Spy, Soldier, and Scout) survived, but the pyro managed to get it back and return it to blue base
What you don't understand in this episode: Blutarch is basically the blue merc's boss, but they are working for Graymann, who wants to take over Mann Co. (Run by the ultimate buff Australian man, Saxton Hale, he runs the business that supplies the ammo and guns for red and blue) with his unstoppable blue robot army. Once blutarch was killed, they decided to go with operation "Bolted Behemoth" which I'm pretty sure is "kill all of red and get the intelligence" (that's why it was labeled sorta, and the dead engineer was the creator of said robot) Blu robot army is "potentially" created, which leaves to the last step, take over mann. co.
Little note: Each merc has their own cosmetics and their own unique weapons they are known for. That's why some of them have hats, others have interesting hair, and wield obscure weapons like swords or at times laser guns.
Continuation: The red, the blue, the ugly (After the 2 year wait, it's finally made, but I won't spoil the actual story)
To put it shortly, this is how Mann Vs. Machine SHOULD HAVE started.
Major Edit: This just a fan-animation that uses the characters and the lore itself, not actually canon towards the "Meet the Team."

As far as the echoing of their voices go, the creator was probably modulating them to sound as they might were we to hear them having a conversation in a large metal box in real life. It’s also not the original vice actors per se, he’s not voicing it himself or paying anyone to do so, he’s mixing and matching various voice lines from the game, of which there are thousands.

These are indeed the real voice actors but those are pre-recorded voices that you use to communicate with your team better in the game. So he got those pre-recorded voices and used them in his animation. A lot! And I mean a lot! Of people do this. happy to help.
Edit: these are also voice lines made by the game creators that were used in expiration date, not a lot but few.
Also, sometimes, rarely though, they get the actual voice actors so it’s easier to get the lines they want.
16:45 the Spy did all this drama because the ambassador weapon needs a direct hit to the head to give a critical hit and also has some disadvantages as Accuracy decreases after the first shot. It has a short wait time in which it never causes critics and the damage is reduced to 15% and the attack speed is reduced by 20%

10:43 sniper players in-game are known for being blind and deaf to everything around them when looking down their scopes, which makes them easy to kill for anyone not right in front of them. The official TF2 videos only use the standard designs of the characters, and each team canonically has one of each character, but with The Winglet's videos, he can make an entire army out of one team with the available cosmetic items from the game.

Hannah these are fan made animations and the reason you're confused about the voice acting is because whoever made it is using audio clips that akready exist in the game and they're trying to make it work with their video idea. That's why it doesn't feel "natural", they obviously can't hire the original voice actors so this is the next best thing.

Just to let you know that these are voice lines in the game for their voices in the video. The person who created these videos did a very good job and it's very cool to see you react to it.
Some explaining for some of the stuff you may be confused by. Demoman uses medieval weapons because of the in-game subclass called the demoknight. Demoknights have a shield that lets them charge. The spy being shot at but not dying is because of an item called the Dead Ringer, which allows the spy to feign death when shot.
I enjoyed your reaction to this. There’s more videos from the Winglet that builds up the story to Live and Let Spy, its called “The Bolted Behemoth”. And that video also gives context to other videos of his called “Burning Through Space” which has 2 parts. I would like to see a reaction from you on those videos if you can!

10:24 is a joke about public servers where new people pick Sniper character (bad choice for a new player btw) and are completely oblivious to their surroundings. In regular game there are no restrictions on how many players can pick the same character. In competitive community they limit 1 character per team and play 9v9.

At 19:30, The spy used the Dead Ringer. Instead of turning invisible like normal, the spy fakes his own death, gains a speed boost, and is pretty much invisible to all means. On the downside, it makes a loud electrical sound when the timer on the watch runs out, which, as you can see in the film, alerts the blue medic and scout.
If you are looking at checking out more fan made stuff, I highly recommend Crash Maul's ongoing SFM series. The Epic Scout, The Rabid Heavy Engineer, The Fight for Sawmill & Like White on Spy are so good!
4:00 It's echo-ey because the room is echo-ey. In this series (yes, Wiglet made a series and this is episode 3 out of 4 plus a 2 episode spin off: respectivly: "Fedora Chronicles"; "Bolted Behemoth"; "Burning trough space 1 and 2"; this one here; and the recently "The Red the Blu and the Ugly") he uses only the game voice clips, outside from extra characters and the entire Burning trough space 2 episode
The reason why there are more of the same characters in the same team is because you can choose what character you want in the game, doesn't matter if there already is one on the team. So for example it is possible to have a team consisting of 8 snipers ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). As for what the spy did 19:25, with that pocket watch active ingame, when you take damage, it will look like you have died to the enemy team, but actually you became invisable so you can trick the enemy team. But if you don't know this it's very confusing yes. p.s. I really love your content and reactions

The voice lines are original lines from the game, they're just stitched together to make scenes and new sentences. It's a common tactic SFM creators use.

That hat that the spy emerged with was an "Unusual" Killer Exclusive. (Killer Exclusive being the name of the hat.)
Items with the "Unusual" Modifier are expensive and rare cosmetic items in the TF2 World, some even costing above a thousand real-life dollars. They're hats with special particle effects floating on or around them. (in some other cases, Taunts and Misc Cosmetics can be unusual too)
The flames that the Killer Exclusive in this case had, were called "Scorching Flames" , which is one of the "Unusual Effects" known to be a bit more on the pricier side, as back then they could fetch a pretty penny. (Nowadays they go for about $60 and some change)
Another notable fact about the Killer Exclusive is the fact that any character can wear it, leaving the possibilities for Cosmetic Combos endless.

in TF2 the spy has cloaking watches that let he get invisible for a certain amount of time, but this one is a clock that lets him fake his death by creating a decoy when he gets shot and immediately gets invisible, at the beguinning this watch didn't worked cus the decoy would spawn completelly smash so you would know it was a dead ringer (this is the name of the watch)
"This video doesn't have voice acting" It means that this video uses the original in-game voice lines with sfm and not with their original voice makers or new voices, thats why sometimes the voices sound laggy or strange. Just a tip

These TF2 movies creatiors are very brilliant. All of the talking you heard in this video or mostly are specially recorded for the game itself or from official valve's video's. Some voice actors are active in social medias, mostly active is scout voice actor which has channel on TH-cam and i thing he's streams too. Sometimes he even record his voice specially for Creator.
Oh, and in 7:58 you're been confused why that hat was on fire. The answer is: It's an unusual. Its a Hat with a special effects like fire or other stuff. They're very rare, expensive and high flex. They're like Knifes from CS:GO, but to be honest nothing beats the one of the most expensive items in TF2

There was a competition for a while called the Saxxys where people would create animated films using Source Filmmaker. The winners got an exclusive in-game item, and so there are a lot of really good tf2 fan-made animations. The only official one you haven't watched is Jungle Inferno.
Audio in fan-made animations is always going to be 1) nonexistent, 2) using lines directly from the game files, or 3) using sentence mixing, which generally sounds the derpiest and isn't used much is the higher echelons of animation.
Be sure to watch "The Red, The Blue, and The Ugly". It's the sequel to this video and is still pretty recent. Just make sure you watch "Burning Through Space" and it's second video as well to understand the end of red blue and ugly.

They are the original voice acting, they just used different words from different lines, since I dont know if you know, but end of the line and Live and let spy are not official tf2. Both of them were community created, which explains why end of the line has no voice acting.

it is the original voice actors (sort of) in sfm you can make the people talk using sound files already given to you and with some tweaking you can make them say almost anything in some cases voice acting of different people are used for certain words phrases or just for acting

That’s a very valuable effect, and on a very valuable hat there, the killer exclusive. If you opened a supply crate and got that, congrats, it’s worth 330-385 keys, or $825-960 USD. (A key is roughly $2.5 USD). Yes people buy and sell these things for real money. Yes, people make a lot of money off it.

There is only one of everybody at a time (of each color, of course) in official "lore", but in the game you can have a full team of any one class/character. So that's why you see more than one of the same in these unofficial animations.
"Live and Let Spy" and "The RED, The BLU, and The Ugly" are fan-made films made by the youtuber The Winglet, who used SFM (Source Film Maker) to make these, Films. in these 2 in particular The Winglet only used pre-recorded voice lines that are in the game. The Winglet actually made another SFM called "Mind Games" where the Scout's Voice Actor (Nathan Vetterlein, also known as ChilliOfDestiny in TH-cam) voice acted in it, but here in "Live and Let Spy" there were no voice actors involved. Just keep in mind that Live aand Let Spy was made almost 6 years ago, and ever since Winglet hasn't stopped improving on his animating. quite an amazing fellow.

17:15 just a quick info dump but what the medieval weaponry is about is theres a very different tactic some demomen use called being a demo knight where you one of three shields that let you charge at people with differentiating stats, a sword that can help aid the shields with a headcount or something else, and boots (honestly I dont know what the boots do) it's also popular in medieval mode where you cant use guns.

There was a prequel to this one aswell, the bolted behemoth, a bit less beter quality but it is just a short meeting with everyone and why they are there
Regarding having many of the same character, in-game anyone can play any class they like, no matter who the other members of your team have picked. You can even have a full team of everyone playing the same class, if you feel like coordinating that. In fan-animations, people tend to give each character a unique set of cosmetics to differentiate them from one another, even if they're the same class. For example, two Heavies wearing different hats would be two unique characters, even though they share the same base model and voice lines.
Things you'll see in other TF2 Animations
Cosmetics: aka hats, shirts, pants, hair, etc. Are kind of the only way to make characters look different. The only other way involves modeling the textures yourself I think.
Soldier is dumb, in the comic's I believe he has lead poisoning or something similar from the water he was drinking?
