One thing is very clear to me! It's not nearly as good as the Eliminator! But I still enjoyed it! If the team has good seekers who understand the game, it's really fun! Hiding is the best part for me though! I really like the game length of 5 minutes! I would love to have the Gallardo in Eliminator! But the annoying Metro can go! 🤣

It's fun, but needs rebalancing imo. Hiders win most of the time, because seekers still don't understand what needs to be done. I've had games where seekers go for the finish zone and just stay there…
@@IAmAscii yah this will get more refined as both Hiders & Seekers will get better at their roles; right now a lot of players are still trying to figure this out
Oh and there's already cheaters in this mode :/ "wengyulong0911" teleported to the other side when found and has a speed hack as well
@@IAmAscii I saw a car stuck in the air at the end of this video, but it might just have been a glitch. A cheating Hider would be very difficult to catch, but what would a cheater Seeker do?
It should explain, my team was practically useless 😂

Enjoyed playing it i actually like the bronco as a seeker car an the wrangler for hider it tends to blend in more. The wrangler is good in going around the outside of the city area an makes it easier to win as a hider 😅. Only played in 3 different areas muglee, playa azul an the city area be good to see how other areas will work. Great vid as always 👌

2. The game mode is good, but the still could be improved, I've played Hider a few times, and it was easy to win, compared to being a seeker, feel like seeker seem to lose more than hiders
3. This Hider cars could be better, rather thank 4x4 or Pickup Trucks maybe cars as well
Overall it is a fun game mode but it still nit as exciting a Eliminator still room for improvement
@@RichDey1979 those are good points; I also felt that being Hider was easier to win. And yes, this for me isn't on the same level as the Eliminator

To be honest, After watching some videos of the new Hide & Seek mode, I found it boring. I finally played this new mode and I changed my mind.
I find it extremely boring.
I didn't find a single drop, I wasn't able to challenge a car or get a good upgrade And on top of that, there wasn't even a final showdown... (it seems that the hider was found on time)
I understand that players can like this new mode, there are some who like to play king or infected in arena games so why not. But it's not really for me
@@bobmaloubier73 yah it won't appeal to everyone; this is kind of like another Playground Games and I definitely wouldn't compare it to the Eliminator
You mentioned at the beginning that you didn't know what car the Hider was in; the clue is in the traffic cars!! Not tried it myself yet as it's been forced upon us in the playlist starting Thursday (tomorrow) so I'm waiting to do it then.
@@bluefish2303 yah after a little practice it's easier to tell which car is AI vs a human as well. But once you see the Hider, you'll always know at least what color car to look for

It will definitely take some time to get used to. Without a good team, the hider is always at an advantage. The 4 times I have played as a hider, I never got caught. Most of the time, it was just as easy as exploiting just how disorganized the seekers tend to be.
Also, I take a more subtle approach of blending in with traffic. 99% of the time, the seekers will just drive right on past. Get them bunched up, hit them with the breaker, then get the hell out of there.
@johndeeregreen4592 yah you definitely have the advantage as the Hider. And being able to see the Seekers on the minimap is a big advantage; I basically just positioned myself one street over from where they were and they never caught me either
It's fun, yesterday I spent a good time playing it. However I think players, specially seekers, still need to understand better the role and the importance of teamwork since I had some sessions where I was the only seeker actually chasing down the hider, but then he would active the chasebreaker and disappear into the street as the rest of the seekers were 1-2 kms away from the scene 😂
Btw I think I've never heard you speak as fast as in this video 😂 great vid as always!

Haven't played yet but it looks like fun. Eliminator map knowledge looks like an advantage. I'll probably play when it's night time as I don't love the Eliminator in the dark!
@@crazycjk yah knowing the map will definitely work in your favor here. Speaking of nighttime; I did have a number of games that were set in the dusk to night time. It would be great if it was daytime more often in this game mode
It is an advantage! I felt I was cheating with nap knowledge 😂
Almost everyone else was constantly getting lost! And it made hiding easier 🤣
I played it for the first time today, and I don't think it's as fun as the Eliminator. I like that it's quick though, good when you don't have loads of time to play!
I do feel like it needs some rebalancing; currently it's too easy to win as a Hider and quite difficult to win as a Seeker. For example, I think the arenas should be smaller and the Hider Ping should cover a larger distance and/or refresh more often than 30 secs.

@hornet8209_joanna yah it definitely doesn't compare to the Eliminator; the Eliminator has more cars, covers the whole map, and has a lot more variables and players than Hide & Seek does. But yes, it's fun if you're looking to get a quick round in as opposed to an entire Eliminator round. And yes, I do plan on livestreaming it (most likely as part of an Eliminator livestream)

I’ve been really enjoying it so far and I think eliminator do actually have an advantage due to map knowledge but I think the best seeker car is the evo imo but the best for hiders is I think the Chevy colorado
@@PeelP50gobrr I haven't tried all the cars yet so I'm not sure which ones are best, but I've been leaning towards the GTR for the Seekers and F-150 for the Hider
Yeah the only cars I haven’t driven yet is the Camaro and the wrangler but most cars I’ve tried I’ve found really good and fun to drive
@@PeelP50gobrr I've been looking mainly at the car specs and chosen the ones with the most power, but those may not necessarily be the best ones. My favorites might change as I try other options more often
@@StriderZYT yeah sometimes going for power isn’t the best option. Sometimes you want acceleration and grip for some maps
What do you personally think of the game mode?
@@RayyanAlkhatibYT it's fun, but I don't think it'll hold up the same way as the Eliminator. There could be a number of improvements to this, including fewer nighttime games (which this gamemode seems to really gear towards). What do you think?
@@StriderZYT Thanks for replying, I’m also having fun with this game mode, and yes, there are definitely some bugs or improvements that can be made for this game mode
The main problem is the fact that some sessions have a very foggy weather, and the AI traffic almost never spawns in such weather
As pretending to be an AI is a very good strategy to hide from players
And without them, it’s almost impossible to escape seekers
@@RayyanAlkhatibYT I haven't tried blending in with traffic as a strategy yet, but I do plan to try it sometime and see if it'll actually work 😄

A glitch took out my comment as to my reply to the pinned comment. I did like your Hider races here the best. The Lambo Seeker Team that was op!
To simplify it. I stated what can be improved and what I enjoyed. It is both a Mini Eliminator for the Hider and kind of like Playground Games Zombie tag for the Seekers Team.
I liked the Jeep Wrangler, Chevy Zr2, and Ford F-150 Raptor for the Hider.
For seeking. I found map choice forcing most car options to the Ford Bronco, GTR, or the Audi AWD drivetrain options.
@@tomcatm16 thanks for the feedback bud! And I agree, it is a bit more fun being the Hider since you are now the one controlling the game flow and need to be more strategic since you need to outsmart your opponents (and it's also rarer than being a Seeker)

My game was bugged for a month, and the bug did something which made me unable to play horizon open, eliminator, multiplayer freeroam, and hide n seek in fh5 i fixed it today, so i cant wait to try it out

Same happened to me, I fixed it by starting FH5 without internet connection and then close and start with connection. Happy that worked because the Eliminator is my fav in FH5 and 4

@@TP_YT_12 Like what I wrote above, turn off your internet and start FH5.
Let it load all the way then close FH5, connect to internet and start FH5. Worked for me, I’m on PC.

Didnt like it much, but I suck at driving everthing except the eliminator. Also of the 13 games I played I was Hider in just one and it was nightimer12 times of the games which i dont like driving in :)
@@freddiehigh yah most of the time you'll be a Seeker, and I agree that it's nighttime too often. I tried to get more daytime games for this video
I enjoyed this. Got to buy and use a base wheel and pedals combo to it. Tough almost impossible to use with Rear drive cars.
Forza base setup does not work for these gametypes on wheel. I had to map a custom button combo for the Chase Breaker, or Ping.
It was nice to use the wheel and pedal combo to confuse a few Seekers in games in traffic. The controller worked best for Team Seeker.
I am glad the car level isn't too high for both to give a chance at trying sim damage settings. Which should be a future option.
@@tomcatm16 yah it comes down to personal preference if you want to use a controller or wheel (or even just a keyboard). I've gotten used to my controller so I just stick with that

@@StriderZYT It's one of the accolades 😁 I think you would do it in first try. This game mode is just too easy if you are hiding. The eliminator is much more brutal, unpredictable and it makes it more fun 😁
Its a good game mode. Actually i think it should be in playground games part and shouldn't have its own section like eliminator and i think it will be boring if you play more. And i think we can't play in stream, the game will divide us in many small groups. That was my opinion. At last , will you stream this weekend?

There is convoy options up to 6 players. One of the streams I watched was of such. It is random pick, yet does a okay job of giving all players a game to be either.
