Very honest and unbiased view. I agree with your conclusions. In older times, after launch, Royal Challenge, Royal Stag, Signature used to be good Whiskies. Now they too have fallen. Scotch whiskies have lived up to their reputation for quality, aroma, flavour and joy of drinking. They are timeless beauties. Scotch whiskies are as distinctive as German cars or Japanese cameras.
There are good Indian whiskies such as Amrut, Paul John, Indri etc. It’s imperative to try these and ignore the cheap Indian rums disguised as whiskies.
Sir , I drink only for three months in a year i.e. Dec , Jan & Feb . My choices are VAT 69, Black dog black, Red knight, Teacher, Old monk rum, Napoleon brandy, Morpheus brandy. Kindly tell me are these OK or not .

Super whisky. OK. Now Old Monk has sustained since ages the quality at a very reasonable price. Bacardi Black can match it but is overhyped. The One litre Military supply carries the real punch of a Rum.

ये पाचों व्हिस्की मै नहीं पिता, मॅकडाॅल नंबर वन, राॅयल स्टॅग, मेरे बजेट मे आ जाती है. और मिलिटरी कँन्टिंग से मिले तो अँन्टिक्युटी, सिग्नेचर, ले लेता हूँ.
बाकी 5 स्टार हॉटेल मे भी मेहंगी व्हिस्की पिने वाले कस्टमर को चवथा, पाचवा पेग सस्ती व्हिस्की का दिया जाता है.
