So they were not often open and QJ absolutely struggled to catch the ball. I know this was just 1 game but the criticism of the Chargers offensive weapons is absolutely warranted and I think it's clear we will need some luck to do much more than sneaking into the playoffs. The problem with predicting the Ravens scoring 31 points against the Chargers is that the Chargers offense/defense won't allow enough possessions for the opposing offense to score that many points. Plus, the Chargers defense makes so many stops that there just aren't enough opportunities to score that many points. The Chargers uncharacteristically abandoned the run in the second half when the Gus Bus was running over the Bengals in the first half and had a bunch of three-and-outs. Had they run the ball and extended drives in the second half, the Bengals would have been lucky to score 20 points. I don't know what Greg Roman was thinking. He had me wondering if they were trying to keep the game close for primetime ad revenue. The only way the Ravens are scoring 31 points is if the Chargers offense completely craps the bed against the Ravens defense, which hasn't been very stout. We will see, though! The Ravens offense has the player to give the Chargers problems. Derrick Henry. If he's the difference, it will be a low-scoring game. If Herbert goes into RoboHerb mode, the game will be a thriller. Ravens offense is number one against zone coverage and it’s not close. Chargers have a really good defense just think this is a bad matchup for them but we shall see. If they can get a ton of pressure on Lamar and not allow him to escape and stop the run you will have success but easier said than done. If Lamar has time or can buy time vs this zone coverage he’s going off

We swept the Bengals. But let’s talk numbers since Herbert’s a better passer lol. Herbert has 13 passing tds 1 int. Lamar has 25 (!) passing tds and 3 ints. Herbert has 2176 passing yds to Lamar’s 2876 yds and he has 500 on the ground. Not even close man. Herbert is nice no doubt but he isn’t even throwing better than Lamar you just aren’t watching the Ravens this year it’s fine.

Ravens are the number one offense against zone coverage that’s why I said ravens match up so much better against the chargers than the Steelers game last week. Secondary isn’t as bad as you think our safety play was killing us all year but last week we benched Marcus Williams. Just cut Eddie Jackson. Moved Kyle Hamilton back with Ardarius Washington and the secondary balled last week. We will see if that continues. Steelers defense matches up better against the Ravens though. NFL is all about the matchup. Steelers know how to play Baltimore better than anyone. I do expect a close game though for sure I just think the Ravens come out firing after the loss last week

We swept the Bengals. But let’s talk numbers since Herbert’s a better passer lol. Herbert has 13 passing tds 1 int. Lamar has 25 (!) passing tds and 3 ints. Herbert has 2176 passing yds to Lamar’s 2876 yds and he has 500 on the ground. Not even close man. Herbert is nice no doubt but he isn’t even throwing better than Lamar you just aren’t watching the Ravens this year it’s fine.

Who said Linderbaum is out? I’m expecting him to play. Big loss if he isn’t though no doubt. Zay Flowers is an elite separator I promise you. Ravens are the number one offense against zone coverage that’s why I said ravens match up so much better against the chargers than the Steelers game last week. Secondary isn’t as bad as you think our safety play was killing us all year but last week we benched Marcus Williams. Just cut Eddie Jackson. Moved Kyle Hamilton back with Ardarius Washington and the secondary balled last week. We will see if that continues. We have good corners though our defense is on the rise from those numbers you love to highlight. I also doubt you’re a more physical team and we know your offense more than anyone.
