Yangyang's outro skill deals no damage (I'm aware Yuanwu's also deals no damage but it does specifically say it deals Vibration damage) in the last video show case, neither Verina or the MC deal damage with Outro skills (MC does deal damage with intro skill however) Where if you compare to Chixia's outro or Calcharo's Outro, you'll find that the damage it deals to the Vibration gauge can be out damaged. This does however show how he can deal Vibration damage or enough Vibration damage to fill the spots of 2 strong outro skill or intro skill related characters.

Built right, Yuanwu absolutely shreds enemy toughness. Then you can switch to your main DPS and absolutely rock the stuffing out of any big enemy while being totally safe.

I was putting off doing the tower until I have the proper level and equipment for my units, so seeing you easily handle that boss was kinda encouraging for me

Yuanwu gonna be SS tier soon once more people realized how freaking powerful his support to break vibration bar fast. Faster vibration bar break means the enemy is in weakened state plus more dps window time
dps window time is only as good as your damage dealer, if it's not good then in the end you'll be doing the same amount of damage in total as someone who only occasionally break the enemy
@@TheoDimitry bruh... You forgot about weakened state of enemy when their vibration bar broken. They take much more dmg during that time. When the vibration bar still up,half of the dmg is absorbed by the vibration bar
@@gravios9641 No, the enemy does not take additional damage when their vibration strength is depleted. That is a common misconception, depleting the bar only "Immobilize" them and nothing else.

I maxed this guy out with out trying (I only needed one more before he was on Yinlin's banner and got his last one first pull), so I pretty much HAVE to use him now lol, he's pretty good, I would say a good weapon for him is the 4 star Hallow Mirage as it gives both an ATK and DEF buff, Gauntlets of Voyager is very good on him as well.
@@zippo718 I think the issue is that we don't have any echoes or weapon that inherently gets flat/base defense like how attack and hp does (though for weapons, this only applies to attack), so defense characters need to have higher scalings on their damage to make up for it. Like, Cost 1 echoes have flat HP that increases with the level, and can reach 1915 at +20 for 5 star echoes, so future HP scaling characters can afford to have lower base values, but it's not the same for defense. I think what dogao is saying, is he wishes Yuanwu's def scaling used more of his def, not that def scaling is a bad thing
i can confirm as a person who mains mortefei this guy is definitely baseline a tier to high b tier and w synergy from yinlin his in the same boat as calcharo in tier 0. 5 to tier 0 depending on the condition and circumstances plus is a good future investment unit
Now imagine: Yinlin, Yuanwu & Calcharo. I have S6 Yuanwu and Calcharo in my main account, but unfortunately my astrites were spent on Jiyan. Hopefully on my second account, I can get Calcharo and Yinlin.
I've just got him a day before yesterday, put him on the shelve 'for later'... But as I have went through 'Ascendant Aces' training (that include him as well) just yesterday, I really enjoyed his constant in-the-face attitude. He resonated (pun intended xD) with me much more than Lingyang ;D
he is such an underestimated character i use him with Calcharo and Baizhi/Verina (depends on my mood which healer i use) he is the only character in game that specializes on breaking stagger bar faster and he also has decent DMG scaling of DEF which makes him a Tank a SubDPS and a Breaker (remember breakers from FF Mobius? :D )

yep.. in my opinion, since Rover Spectro is a quickswap Hybrid, he fits into switching in and out to get the most benefit of Intro/Outro... unlike Havoc Rover that needs to commit into one rotation

- Yuanwu will be the “Driver” to proc Yinlin's off field - try to use Yuanwu's Forte when you're done rotating with Yinlin, as it will also help melting the Vibration - but try to get as many Intro/Outro as possible.. switch often I wont be pulling for Yinlin's tho.. since im more of a fan for Jinxi..
This man reminds me a little of Misha from HSR because most people (especially streamers) immediately don't give a fk to him, not even care for his kits just because he's a 4 star Now that I got Yinlin, I can fully utilize this guy (still farming echoes tho 😩)
Depends on what you have as the main dps he is viable definitely but pretty niche in usage, as usually you would want to pair yuanwu with a quickswap main dps eg: HMC/encore, both HMC and Encore have a lot of animation that can be cancelled by swapping so you can build up yuanwu's forte during their downtime, and since yuanwu's utility comes from his stagger dmg it doesn't really matter if you leveled his echoes up, tho its still preferable to do so just to get enough ER to properly rotate him out. It is definitely possible to do this but in general i think that using a traditional support is still the way to go, yuanwu's support is still pretty lacking as we don't have many characters that requires his stagger dmg all that much.
if you're just gonna use him as breaker, there's no need to level his Echoes.. Just make sure you have Full Set Moonlit on him, unlock his Ascencion 1, and do Outro/Intros in your rotation with Yuanwu.. thats it for breaking Vibration
The only motive i dont use him is because my DPS is not good yet and he does very very low damage, as a person who wanted to play with him it was very disappointing
Welp.. some charas unlock their full damage kit until S3-S5.. some charas are meant to be used as utiliies like Yangyang, Yuanwu, Baizhi.. but they are easy to build, and only need to do Intro/Outro, and Moonlit or Rejuvenate set with random main stat
no worries.. you're not alone... Due to my hardware limitation, i find that Spectro Rover fits better than spamming Basic Attacks that is Havoc Rover... But, i agree that Havoc Rover is currently the highest damage of Rover's form

dps window time is only as good as your damage dealer, if it's not good then in the end you'll be doing the same amount of damage in total as someone who only occasionally break the enemy

I also found the mechanic of reducing the stamina bar quite interesting, what bothers me is his damage DEF scaling, especially the off-field pillar
So build DEF, why does this bother you? You just go DEF on 1 costs, and DEF rolls are actually decent now.

For higher difficulties, you might want to find better damage dealer than Spectro Rover, but just bringing Yuanwu for Vibration breaking is ok

It deals normal Parry damage + Intro damage.. its just a faster way to break the Stagger bar
