Are there any peculiarities with operation of LHB coaches?.I hv noticed a sudden jolt while pulling forward and during braking.this was not felt in old ICF coaches.
Yes, especially when the loco is wap-7, not mostly in wap-4. This is because the first notch in the throttle of wap-7 releases 33% of its rated power, which equivalent to 10 notches in wap-4. I have felt the same jerk while travelling in sleepers. But couldn't feel it in ac coach. ICF coaches are heavier than LHBs as well.
