Thank you for your insight!! Poor Holly. Sure, she was happy to play with the puppy, but like most of the visiting dogs, they go home! Certainly, this puppy will get the majority of attention. My heart breaks for Holly, who received so much love and attention. I don't understand why people (cluelessly/selfishly) bring a puppy or a kitten into the family when there's already an older and "only" pet in the household.

Hi Nicki..Please keep in mind that a dog needs to be able to sit up, with its back straight in the crate. I work for a major airline and if I tell you the number of times I have people show up at the airport with an animal stuffed and crammed into its kennel, unable to turn and move around. Of course that isn't the case now, but as the little sweetheart gets bigger, it's just important to remember it. HAPPY AND HEALTHY BIRTHDAY WISHES❣ Thank you for all that you do, along with Carlo, Skye, Holly, all the kitties, extended family and friends.

Happy Birthday!!glad you got what you wanted. My brindle rescue collie lived to be 19 and she believed it was her sworn duty to know where everyone was when she was young. My rescue lab trained her to everything in a week as she watched him then mimic all he did. He taught her to walk on lead by snapping and growling when she pulled, failed to sit and that was hard to watch but in 2 hrs she behaved while walking next to him. When I walked her alone a sharp bark from him had her in line. Holly will do wonders with her. watched to puppy bits again and had the heart tugs but have 2 different rescues that soak up all my love, keep me safe from boiling pots, squirrels, forgetting medicine,sleeping too long. Much as I love your pup want to remind people there are incredible dogs in the shelters that are fully grown, might be having horrid stress reactions but given a chance are incredible. Hope you don't hate me for saying it.
