I really like these uncut videos! I’m so pumped to get down there and wet a line. Your Keys videos have definitely taught me a lot and given me a plan of attack! Thanks Elias!
Elias, I am so happy that you went to uncut versions of your trips. These are my favorite way to learn and see how everyone else fish. Love your insight throughout. Still can't believe you fish in a kayak on the ocean. That would have me so nervous not knowing what is under me
Hey Elias, I've never been ocean fishing so sitting on my VR and watching you on the big screen makes me feel like I am in the Kayak with you. I watch every minute. Love the long form but only when you are in the keys as it is so beautiful. Trying doing it when you are back home as I will certainly try and watch it. You have a pleasant voice to listen to and you are not boring. That's why these long form videos are so good as well. Show some more catch and cooks in the short forms. Doesn't have to be elaborate. Simple is always easy to duplicate. Love your videos 😊😊😊 Keep up the fantastic work.
Elias can you please show us how you strap everything to prevent it from falling out your kayak in case it gets flipped. I recently flipped mine do to a boat speeding by me and there was like 6 ft swells. All my gear fell out , my 2 star rods with DAIWA Bg 4000’s, my net, box of baits, phone, etc. thank you and keep up the work.
I like to use a lightweight big fish setup from my kayak. Kinda goofball, a 5 foot ML rod, 1500 series reel that can hold a good amount of 8 lb line. Does well with 1/8 - 1/4 oz baits. Catches everything from panfish to predators. Maybe a way to get ultralight feel using heavier line for abrasion resistance. Thank you and great job on the channel!
I enjoy the uncuts as well. You have asked several times how people watch these. I typically watch while I’m working. Kinda podcast style until you hook up then I look over to see what you got. I’m generally not as much of a fan of the highly produced stuff.
@@EliasVFishingif you feel like you run out of things to talk about on trips. As someone that is thinking about getting a kayak. I would enjoy hear about how some of you gear has evolve over time.
Elias: I love the long-form videos... I've been looking forward to them... One suggestion about the long-form videos, and I recognize that there may not be much you can do about it... I find the video less compelling when you can't see the rod in the shot... the scenery is awesome, but I'd like to see the rod, and the rod tip... Small point. Thanks!
@@EliasVFishing I’m from Canada and am hoping to drive down to the keys area for my birthday . Perhaps the Miami boat show for fun . Long overdue vacation time . Your keys videos have inspired me to take a kayak with me for a bit of fishing . I will go sometime in the middle of February

Happy New Year! Thanks for an awesome 2024 season

Loving the uncuts! It would be cool to see a live one day
Funny to see you use Slab Tails in the ocean. We used them in Colorado to catch large rainbow and cutthroat trout.
Elias, you should try fishing around the power lines polls. There are a lot of Snappers around them

Appreciate that - makes sense and I think I’ll be doing more and more like this going forward.

3 hour video! you spoil us!
I don't fish anything less than 20 pound flouro in the keys even on small jigs.
Just got my first Tough Tuggers and Jigheads. Those are some tough plastics and beefy hooks.
Awesome hope you like them! Thanks for ordering.

I get it. I'll see what I can do!
Elias, was down at 7 mile Bridge today. Nothing doing. Did not see you. Safe home.
Love these videos. You should move to the keys.
Caught some big specks today on the mini macanac shad when they wouldn't eat live baits
Barracuda can be found on the Flats all year around.
There are keyboard experts of all levels. One reason why we didn't join a fish club, is because we don't need to deal with self proclaimed experts.
Hi, could you please share the spot where you drop your kayak.
Appreciate.
What Gulp plastics do you like the most?
Depends on region. Some areas the jerk shad and swimming mullet are best. Seems like mangroves like the gulp shrimp best.
Would those pillings have Sheephead I wonder
A few - not sure what bait to use there for them

same thing, same thing. freshwater (besides finger lakes) is gone. huge hole in this guy's fishing adventures.
Still fishing freshwater. Just not posting it much honestly.
Get it right Elias. It's mu in not mutton. Just ask Rich
Got it - t’s are silent my bad.
Uncut , nope. Too much talk . Edit to 15 seconds before hookset
Nice video!!.🐟on
