4 days post surgery. I am actually gave birth whilst I had a cold so u can imagine butt with pain management am trying to get back in shape. I have had natural prior and I am like these things are the same when it comes to recovery .
I went through C section many years ago, in Kerala. In many Kerala hospitals, they make them walk a few steps, a few hours after the surgery (some other major stomach surgeries too). I think this speeds up the healing process, though its very painful then. Iam not sure if this happens everywhere.
Yup. Had my first natural 39 hrs of labor had my second by emergency c-section after 29 hrs of labor and being suck at 5cm for 5 hrs and could no longer dilate. They was born 7lb6oz & 8lbs2oz ( now 15 & 8 years of age) had them at 21 and 28 . I have 2 of my 3 sisters that had c- sections as well one had 3 and the other had 2 so fat. OUR other sister the eldest had both her children naturally.

I had a c section of my daugther, that was a new world to me. It felt like a truck hit me in full speed. Luckily i have a strong body, 2 hours after i woke up from the surgery i noticed i got my cathether out by moving to much went to pee alone walking, 6 hours later i was showering alone, standing up, my infuse got ripped out. I was all good. Next day got all the nurses crying and laughing to the floor, i stood with my baby and maxicosi in my hand, dressed and showered, my bagage was packed and in the wheelchair, waiting at the desk to be released. They told me honey this is not how it works, they told my husband your wife needs to go in the wheelchair, we need to make a photo, like this never happend in the history of this hospital before.
I so much wanted to have a normal delivery...but ended up having an emergency c-section.....the first thing I said wen I woke up was... Yeh m a mom!!!!!! N when I saw my angel....all I could say was " is the beauty MY baby?????" 😃

Same. I enjoyed my pregnancy phase so much and then everything changed suddenly and I was clueless what was happening with me. I am still figuring out. It has been 5 and a half months since my delivery. I really do not like the way I look now.
I have now experienced both. Two days ago i had to have an emergency c-section for my son. I will take normal vaginal delivery over c-section. It hurts way more!
I had c-section too... right after my baby was out I started to have very bad cough... no medication worked! It pains so bad whenever I used to cough... i was afraid my stitches would tear apart 😅 Thankfully nothing happened. P.s. If someone is facing cold or cough post delivery, I would suggest applying zinda telismath to curtains or on bottom side of ur bed or near your leg (to the blanket)... Just a drop is enough, it gives so much relief from cold and cough... Got to know this age old practice when some aunty from other patient's family quietly put some in ICU! seeing me suffer! I really thank her from bottom of my heart, I follow the same thing even now whenever I suspect that I'll be catching cold or cough 😂

I had my son 31 years ago through C - section. I had no pain because of heavy painkillers. I actually wore high heels and went shopping on the 5th day
4 days post surgery.
Iam not sure if this happens everywhere.
even in jaipur they ask us to walk after few hours of c section
No need to mention cities or states, it happens in every hospital where doctors have good knowledge.

Happens here in gulf countries also.

This is very true when you laugh cry or even sneeze it hurts like crazy

Now im 36 1/2 and having my 3rd child( never though I would) 🤷 now they said I have to have another c - section since I have a short cervix . I have 2 of my 3 sisters that had c- sections as well one had 3 and the other had 2 so fat. OUR other sister the eldest had both her children naturally.
No one told me too...they said csection is like the easies thing and thats what frustrated me a lot😢😅
Your tummy will controll your emotions 😂😂

Congratulations mom and dad. Your little baby looks so beautiful and cuddly. May God bless.
And afterwards the numbness never goes away
Nope never. Had my 1st 4years ago and it's still numb or damaged nerves.
I too had my c section in the month of November 2022 but my baby girl dead on the same day before I opened my eyes and even myself undergone serious condition till 48 hrs..but I am alive, Hope god had taken me and left my baby
So true.
Your right no one tells you.
Same. I enjoyed my pregnancy phase so much and then everything changed suddenly and I was clueless what was happening with me. I am still figuring out. It has been 5 and a half months since my delivery. I really do not like the way I look now.
Oh it's c section 😯
I had normal delivery on my 1st and praying the same on our 2nd because i am really scared on CS op. Salute to all the mothers specially had CS.
Same problem mujhe bhi ho rhi hai es time
I too have a baby girl through C section. Please give your blessings to my child🤲🤲
Normal delivery is also very painful.. it's not true that only c section hurts 😂
the recovery period is usually much longer and theres more risk for conplications during delivery and the postpartum period
I had cold during my delivery and its a c section.. it hurts very much while u cough.. I have struggled a lot...
Oh yes that pillow hug Is a must at all times when our cores are engaged
I know how it feels...Being a mother not easy..that's why i love my baby girl the most❤from Bangladesh
Same m crying it really hurts
