Sushmita: find it strange that someone wants their topper 'thinned out" The more volume the better 😊 Over time it will thin out when you wash and brush/comb the topper - majes sense 😀

i am wearing my pony wig. windy places are fine but i wouldnt advise dunking your head into a beach it can ruin the hair and make it very messy. i have clients who do but i still dont advise it
Emily Berg hi! Same thing as a wefted topper. Pulling on strands on hand tied portion (the back) can cause the lace to rip as its delicate. Only pull from silk, cut from wefts or hand tied/lace
Marilyn Lucas please email me your questions for the future :) but it just needs to be trained, when it’s fully washed brush it forward and blow dry it down. It will eventually stick, just needs training :)
How outrageous would it be to thin a topper from 150 to about 115 density? Especially, if you never attempted this before and aren’t necessarily good at hair.
Andrew & Jessica Hersh it’s not completely outrageous with the pulling method since you’re just pulling out the hairs that are thickening it. It may just take a while. If you have a big cap, it may be better to take out wefts or cut the hairs very close to the weft all around. Just make sure not to pull too much in one spot as to not create a bald spot. It’s a lot of work but can be done.
Karen S I would ASSUME it’s okay, but to be honest I’m not very familiar with mono as I haven’t made them too often (and when I did they were usually not dense that they needed thinning) I’d only be worried about ripping the lace from pulling too hard.

I have cut a bang in my topper but they still want to split in the middle after washing and blow drying . Is their a solution to this ?

It’s a 6x7. Could I pay to have you thin it. I would feel so much better about that. Especially, if I would have to cut wefts.
I’m not afraid of work. I’m just afraid I’ll mess it up.
