@TheSuperk25 .....and I can find faults in all the candidates answers. Then we can disagree all day. Everyone deserve to win but I find Miss Philippines response more appealing. Straight to the point, with sincerity and candor. You have to remember that this pageant is about "grace under pressure" and Miss Philippines was that (without the giggles, pauses, and a radio voice friendly interpreter). But like what you said, its done. :)
@joaquin66 How it takes for the translator to translate? 10-20secs? If you don't have an idea and can't compose your answer in your head, then you can't really articulate. So an interpreter is not an issue. Problem with people who's English is not their first language is the grammar- you're more concerned with the grammar -than the thought itself- especially here in the Philippines which English is almost a measurement of intelligence
I dont understand how Miss Philippines did not win or placed higher. She answered the question without an interpreter, sincerity and poised. Miss Philippines should have won.

Personally, I find her sincerity and direct answer more appealing than the rest. I was not talking about who's got a lovely face because they all do.

You have to understand that in a stressful environment. Seocnds to think can make a difference in once reactions, responses, and decisions. Again, I am not questioning everyone's intelligence nor beauty. I was merely pointing out how quick wit Miss Philippines was. To me its more appealing. I do have high respect for all the girls.

Last year, Jamaica had the best answer in the final round but they picked Mexico. At least in my opinion. Because Ximena got a lovely face, I guess.
The filipino people should stop whinning for not winning the title! Miss Philippines was an average woman and her answer was normal as well. There were many other beautiful ladies that should have gotten to the top. It is just annoying to see people cry over a little bit of fame. -___-

I think the problem with her answer is that she sounds intolerant with other religion.Judges disliked it. polarized their thinking if they could make her win or not. Marriage has nothing to do with religion, so she should have just said she doesn't have to choose since marriage and religion got no bearing. A lot of couples are together even if they have different religion.Ex Bill and Hillary Clinton. But it's done and over it. 3rd runner up fine
