Yes! I wonder about wardrobe sometimes, when they put men in ill-fitting suits, or put tiny women in dresses obviously designed for larger (taller and bustier) women. They look like little girls dressing up in Mom's clothes. I can see that some production companies (is that what we should call them, not sure right term) don't have big budgets for lots of clothes, but even if an outfit might not be the best for the scene (maybe not elegant enough for the party), fitting better on the actress or actor has to be better than putting on the wrong-sized piece. Also, just to add a fashion comment here, I really dislike the ascots.

Why, when you're a single woman without any means of supporting 4 kids, would keep who she is a secret from the daddy? These plots are irritating! To what purpose is it to hide identities, especially since she marked him as to know he was the man she slept with!
The context being that the man is rich and there is a risk that he will take the children away from her. In order to not lose custodianship of her children she's trying to avoid him finding out
I also feel it too annoying they need to change the story where the ML comes to know about the FL and all his children so they live happily and then can fight all the annoying people around them
It really does make her into a non-sensical liar. She could have at least asked about his attitude about the mother of the children. It’s just one lie after another here. Why do so many of these dramas have one or the other, or both, leads, acting villainous or idiotic. There are so few that are truly good, and are written without overly exaggerating human flaws.
@@finariamoorenga6934 I don't think you get the context. The ML is rich and powerful. Asking = him knowing. If he doesn't want the FL in the children's lives she loses them all. One might say it's selfish but it's not totally irrational. That's just how the characters are written. If they are all rational and logical then there's no drama.

Because in Chinese culture, the men get custody of their children, to do as they please. They have the right to keep the kids from their mother. Unlike the US where most mothers get the children a divorce, in many Asian countries the father is the one who gets the children. Thats the reason, for the sake of their children, many mothers stay stuck in bad marriages
I like ML. The kids are good. But if someone doesn't start remembering DNA or, say, honesty in these plots soon, I'm gonna scream. I am not ungrateful for the many many past shows created for us, but I feel like we should support the folks who are working hard to bring us new scripts that aren't disrespectful to their actors or viewers. For me, I have put up with some bad bad plots in order to 1) see the actors I like 2) hear the language I am coming to love 3) because they were all we were being offered But now that we are getting more and better choices, I am, going to start skipping these plots where people are liars.

Very fun, I really liked it. In fact, I love dramas with multiple children. I had so much fun, who in this world goes to someone else's house and smells their slippers? lol among other fun things. Just watch, it's worth it.
