Seriously cannot overstate how competent the people and systems designed to shut down the bridge operated that night.

We still don't have a single incident commander out front speaking to the salvage effort. As long as politicians are the ones being presented to speak to the public, we can all be reassured that this is really a government mess being covered up under the protection of its tragedy moniker.
The first clue is the misnomer that the first marine crane on scene is truly a "heavy lifter". Viewers should know that Marine Heavy-lift Cranes are those which can lift 1,500 tons or more. This crane that is now on scene and being touted as such a capable tool for the job ahead of this salvage operation is simply a medium-lift crane and, of course, just the largest available (not under contract or performing other work) on the East Coast. The "heavy lifters" can handle loads in excess of 14,000 tons but are also so large that they may not be able to clear the channel bottom at only 40 to 50 feet deep.
I remember when the Silver Bridge in Pt. Pleasant WV collasped Devember 15,1967! Just before Christmas so there were many cars on that bridge when it went down! Over 42 people died ! The TV show Ghost Hunters did a program about the Siver Bridge collaspe and the Mothman mystery! Pt. Pleasant area was said to be crused by a Shanee Chief who was murdered by colonists . His son also died! These teo Native Americans came to warn the Fort about an impending British attack! That was how they were repaid! Very tragic history ! 😢
There can be something in those cargo boxes that might effect the water

Where is the assistance of the people responsible for this disaster? Have they no insurance? When the Valdez caused damage they were there and stayed to assist. Millions to help repair damage. Just wondering.
