Wtf, this gets so much deeper when you realize that the camera zoomed into his eye and then back out at the end, showing how this entire video is happening in his mind while he keeps a straight face.
As someone who has gone through opiate withdrawals more times than I prefer to recall, that representation is pretty damn accurate. I Love this song but watching the video was absolutely painful, cause there is a small part of losing that someone who you really thought you were destined to be with, who you couldn't see your life with out, matches some of the pain that is going through opiate withdrawal.
I've been clean 5 years, 11 months, and 2 weeks...but those are two types of pain you never forget.
Hitting that same wall at night speed rt now...sitting in the dark with my hands shaking is spot on...for both soul melting events...but both at the same time must be unlivable...we are about to find out.

Man when you lose someone like that who held your heart in the palm of their hand is the hardest thing ever im a recovering addict who happened to be a chronic relapser I was lucky enough to find someone who was able to put those pieces of my heart back together and once already thus disease has almost caused me that but I don't intend on losing this one she's the most amazing woman ive ever been with and she understands my struggle

Back then I wasn't sure what hurt the most, losing her or shortly thereafter forcibly laying down the bottle. Now over a year later, thinking clearly I can see where I went wrong and can answer that question. Losing someone like that in your life is never truly something you ever really get over, its a pain that eventually just becomes a dull ache you learn to cope and live with. I have dealt with my demons and believe myself to be a better man for it, at this point my only hope is that she one day feels the same.
It takes a strong person to put the bottle down. Good for you - great things will be heading your way, just you watch.
keep doing what you're doing brother. once the fog clears the consequences of our former idiot actions, as my sponsor says, get better. the pain we caused may not be completely forgiven or forgotten, but when people see we've truly changed and our feet truly match what's coming out of our mouths they begin to see us a little different.
so keep up the good work and know you aren't alone. many of us have been right where you are. keep doing what you're doing.....it'll all work out in your higher power's time.

This video gave me chills and the song was incredible. A perfect representation of the prison we put ourselves in over and over again, the power we give to others, and the strength it takes to break free. Not just in romantic relationships, but all relationships where you allow yourself to love another being. Love makes you vulnerable, but it is worth it.

Hey there Tyler this one got through the Grief of loosing My Only Sibling He's been gone almost 9 years in May Due to his Best Friend being drunk behind the wheel passed out and going 129 mph an He hit a tree and it broke My Only Sibling a brother neck an Killed him instantly I've been going through Withdrawals just living in a 🌎 with out Him and I am still going through it.

This was under my "watch this again" and it brought back memories of two years ago around this time my husband and I were going through a very hard time, I stayed at my mother's while he went back up north to his family. I remember finding this song and instantly it made me realize what my true feelings were towards my husband. I played this song on repeat till I cried myself to sleep.

Great video for an even better than great song. I didn't know what yall were gonna do with this. The song had me hooked from my first listen the day the album was released on iTunes and the video just blew me away. I especially love the hands holding onto and gripping his clothes. And the his struggle with the guitar and the use of it to escape. Really conveys that music can help you get through a lot. Metaphorically. HIGH FIVE GREAT JOB!
