Thank you for this great tutorial. I tried before for half an hour but I fail and could not caliberate however, when I saw this tutorial, in one go, I was able to caliberate.
Finally someone had found a solution for the sticks calibration. I’ve been messaging TBS back and fought till now and still can figure it out. Thank you so much dude that was very helpful 🎉just need to wait for the dot to move first😅
Just got my Tango 2 v3 delivered yesterday. I can get a good calibration on both sticks after many tries, but it seems to lose calibration on the right gimble after going in and out of different menus pages. Certainly don't trust it at this point. Changed the micro SD card, got it to calibrate using your low and slow method. So far so good. Still need to take props off and verify end points on my quad.
Great info, and thanks for posting. Last week I swapped out my V1 board for a V3 and couldn't calibrate the gimbals, like other Tango 2 owners. Took my time, worked like a charm!
Dude... thank you! My Mambo does beep but I must of still been doing it too quick! I also wasnt letting go of the stick at top and bottom mid like you were or only doing the + shape once like you were so i did all the same as you with slower on the main cal and its finally right! Legend.
Very helpful video been fighting for the last day or two, now that said my sticks are not moving the same direction as they should how do I make them move the direction I need to any help appreciate it thanks
I would double check the mix settings. If you don’t have movement from other axis on the stick display I would guess the mixer is set wrong. Sorry I’ve not had this issue so I can’t tell you exactly.

Thanks for the information!! I had this problem for close to a year now. After doing this one time it worked and everything it good now!! Thanks again!! Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
I'm new in FPV and I bought a tbs tango pro and I noticed that the left joystick is a lot loose, the right is okay. Is it normal ? Will it get better If I calibrate the left joystick??
Hey there thanks for the video! I’m having trouble Arming my iflight Cidora. My TBS nano RX is binded with a solid green light and I already created a model and got a to arm once before and now I’m having trouble figuring out what the problem is. The only thing I can think of is maybe some thing got changed when I tried to use a simulator on the same model. Just reaching out for help. Any ideas?
Hi,can I ask you a question please? Do you need to do this when you first get one? Or after you bind it to a receiver? Or do you need to do this everytime you change a model? thanks
Found that calibration was lost after upgrading to firmware 1.30. Upgrading to earlier firmwares did not cause the calibration loss. Out of the box there is no need for calibration, neither when binding to a receiver.
Thanks for the video. I’m having the same issue with my brand new V3 Tango. When you turned on the Tango did you get the initial intro with the freedom TX logo and then the little white logo or immediately went to the calibration page?
Tried to calibrate my new Tango 2 at today. Sort of did that except slight skewing (+- 2 to 5 units) for both stick horizontal axis at top and bottom position. Stable zero at middle though. Are there is a way how to get rid of this skewing? Or that is necessary evil?

Thank you. I had been having calibration issues on my Tango 2 and this tip really helped fix the yaw readings at both zero throttle and full throttle.

Good to hear, I heard the newer firmware takes care of so of these issues.
Thanks I can’t thank you enough. You’re such a life saver!!
I always suffered from tango2's gimbal trembling, and your video was really helpful.
Thanks.
Your videos is the reason I’m able to continue flying 🙏🏽 thank you
That is awesome!
Great tip! Been wrestling with this for a while and first try with your method yielded better results than previous bouts... Thanks!

also, the "+" shape movement at the end is super important
What is it cause actually am afraid to do tge calibration 😅 so whats that + shape ?

Man really works fine!!! Wait the time for the dot moves first and then do stick movement in the same direction!!! Thanks!!!
Hey and remember the recent firmware update for the internal TX for T2 Pro V3 for 1 watt!!!!
1 watt will get me a long way in Toronto, bet my video dies before a failsafe

Not sure, but you can adjust the tension of the gimbals tight or loose from the inside.

Would you happen to be in another model? The RX stays with the model when you switch.

It should not skew, keep trying to calibrate or you may have a problem with it.
u save my life....thank uuuuu
Tks a lot, life saver
They recommend both sticks at same time
good idea to run the remote control without antennas
i need help...do you know how to scale the sticktravel ? i reach -100/+100 at about 1mm from center.
have you any idea how i can fix this?
Yes, because you dont done it like in this video. Do it the right way and all is fine.
