I like that Disney is doing away with carpet. We liked the tile floor in POP in October. April 2021 at Caribbean Beach we were in the Jamaica section, perfect access to the Skyliner! Your gifts were great and love the hat! I need that one too! GO PACK GO! My friends all give me hell as I live in Michigan and they are all Lions fans.....I have family in Green Bay so been a Packers fan since birth actually. lol...Thanks for sharing!
Every time we do come down and stay on property, which now we have access to a nearby timeshare, we would be in Caribbean Beach resort. Rooms are usually pretty plain, but being close to the Skyliner and Riviera is great for options. Also, they were one of the few nicer 5th sleeper options price wise. With 3 small ones, the space and room to sleep was great
I am a HUGE PLANNER before the trips, so that once I get there (doesn't matter where), I can enjoy the vacation as all the dining, entertainment, etc. is already planned out. This is necessary for my repeat trips to Hawaii, Las Vegas, and Fort Lauderdale.
I enjoyed the pirate room! The only bad thing about it was that they were double beds which made it a bit cozy with 4 adults in there. Theming in the room was great!
Fellow Wisconsinite here! We love CBR when we go. Maybe because we don’t go often, but we love the nostalgia of the rooms. Love that resort and the rooms are cozy. Fun to watch this one!

In 2015 I stayed at the Caribbean Beach resort in a pirate room and I loved it. I was there at the same time of year as Kyle is now. And other than the fact I got sick and had to stay in bed one day of the trip, I really enjoyed it.
My family stayed at that resort last year on our first Ever trip to Disney… It is definitely not the fanciest resort, but it got the job done. We were in the parks from open until close and we were literally only at the resort to shower and sleep. If you’re looking for, a nice resort, but don’t plan on spending much time there. Caribbean is great. FYI service was awesome!!!!!

We actually stayed there at the Carribean beach resort earlier this year. We also was in bldg 26 in Martinique but on the 2nd floor. We loved it! Having the skyliner by the resort was definitely a perk. We will definitely stay there again.
I stayed there in September and it most definitely needs updating we stayed in all star movies too and it was much nicer as the room had been refurbished however the convenience of the skyliner was an absolute bonus so would still recommend for getting to Hollywood studios and Epcot
Photos were released today of the brand new Little Mermaid rooms that are coming from the refurbed pirate rooms and they are gorgeous! These rooms are going to put CB back on the map! They are 5th sleeper rooms too which is amazing!

I’m surprised by the decorating in the Riviera. I was excited to see that. With the white tile, and lighter aesthetics, they could have done SO much with Red/Green and lights. Disappointing! 2out of 10 was accurate Kyle!
We stayed in a pirate room and we loved it. I wouldn't say they were the worst rooms on property. The old All-Star rooms were a lot worst. The pirate rooms felt like old Disney from the 80s and 90s but your too young to know that.
Your whole family makes me so happy and I think the room looks wonderful I always look at it like this you only stay in the room to sleep. I love seeing your family they are wonderful your mom dad and sister are just terrific and I send you and your family my holiday wishes for the Pallo family Merry Christmas and a happy new year
Disney did away with the carpets because of the bed bug outbreaks. They modernized the rooms and also removed things they could breed under and in. They now use vinyl flooring and I feel overall better. That room could use an update but for me and my family it would be perfect as long as it’s clean. Have fun on your trip
Not just because of bed bugs in the carpet fibers, but also people with allergies (dust mites love carpets) and wood/vinyl flooring is just easier to clean.
Love the go with the Flow! But with reservations it's been a little more planning . Glad they're going away 😂 Those rooms remind me of Pop Century but hey they do the job your not in your room much. This was my family's favorite resort back in the 90s. We used to go to Disney every year. I've only been able to go a 4 times since 2009. Also traveling to Europe a lot. My sister in law will only make reservations buying DVC points. These CB resort rooms are a lot nicer now than the were as a kid. I don't care much how the room looks as long as the transportation is good.
We were always go with the flow in the morning we always discuss at breakfast which park we would go to that day with our families! Disney now you have to have reservations so the whole go with the flow does not work with Disney world! 👎🏽 So you all enjoy. Thank you Kyle

Me and my family leave Sunday morning for disney staying at carribean Beach resort as well but will be in disney springs for lunch at Ragland roads! Hopefully get to see ya! You will know I'll be yelling DAD!
1000% planners; to get the hotel/attraction you want. Drove across the USA a while ago (yea, foot in Atlantic Ocean (Brooklyn NYC) and Pacific (LA) and Canada (Glacier Nat. Park) and Mexican Border fence (near El Paso for Carlsbad Caverns.). Went to Yosemite and Yellowstone and glad I had PLANNED and was able to stay in actual National Parks. But, also love the "backpackers thru Europe" so to each his own!!!!!!!!! And yes, went to Disney LAND in (near) Los Angeles and went to Universal there. Florida better for both.

It was slow at Disney Springs that Monday after thanksgiving weekend. We were busy all weekend, most went home by Monday.

One of the times your family comes to visit you should book the king kamahemah suite at the Polynesian or a turret suite at the yacht or beach club

I agree with you the train set is expensive probably went up in price. It is a Lionel train set so another reason it's pricey
