Came from the South Bay 5 years ago! I don’t miss anything from LA! That spot where he’s fishing is chill. I believe you do need a fishing license but the Oceanside pier and harbor pier don’t require it

Yo, man. Great vid. I've never made ceviche but watching you make it reminded me of a Baja trip 30 years ago. Visited with my Tio and Tia in San Quintin on the way back up and she was making clam ceviche! Dude, I've eaten all kinds but that was the best I have ever had. Cheers!

This is Carlsbad lagoon (agua hedionda). It’s a lagoon and on the left side by the beach, the lagoon opens up to the ocean. Enjoy your time when you try some spots out here 👍🏽

You can buy it at some local bait shops up and down sd coast. Some upper county ones are Anglers in vista, pacific coast bait in cbad, pappys in oside

You can park across the street and walk up. A great spot is by the jetty’s, that whole spot west of the lagoon too
