I’ve been waiting so long for the survivor conversation! I was pulling hard for Carson, but when Yam Yam was helping him with the fire, I was like, “GIVE HIM ALL THE MONEY!” Ugh. It’s so great to see someone who played a good game and also has a great heart get the win! I loved the Tika three so much! They couldn’t have gone wrong with any of them! 💜
For flowy pants I typically wear a crop top. I’m a size 16/18 and flowy pants and longer crop is my “comfy leave the house” outfit, Especially when I’m taking my kid to OT or Speech
That yellow flowery blouse will always remind me of the first time you wanted to wear matching outfits with Grace when she was just a newborn 💜 so many memories in clothes!
Avoid t shirts with flowy pants, I think. Try cropped tanks or a cute sports bra. My instinct too would be to add little details like having a ribbed shirt or something with a little more structure. Additionally, I’d try not to match colors too much as matching gives pj set. Sage green or light blue would look incredible with that pink!
SUGGESTION ON THE PANTS!! I totally get what you’re saying about feeling like pjs, however they are super cute and NOT giving pjs, IF you wear it with the “right” shirt. I would personally suggest a tighter fitting top/bodysuit (i personally don’t like bodysuits bc I haven’t found a comfy one) so maybe I cute white/cream colored form fitting tank top. A square neck shape would look GORGEOUS on you or even a tank/halter top that covers the chest fully. Just my thoughts of course. Regardless of anything, you rock everything ESPECIALLY with that bag!!! Soooo beautiful 😍!

I really wanted Carolyn to win the most up to the finale but when I saw Yam Yam help Carson when he was struggling and then give his super compelling speech to the jury I knew he would get it! I teach swim lessons, and I love your parent perspective on water safety. Plus, I always tell my students that we are going to try new things, and it may give them butterflies, but the teachers will keep them safe.

My daughter was the same with the pool and she was very cautious at lessons when she was about Grace's age. I did let her go at her own pace but it helped having her in a class with other kids. Seeing other kids jumping in with little fear helped her get past some of the fear she had, cause then she wanted to try it too. While taking lessons and even after anytime a friend invited her to their pool we went and the more she got in it (especially with friends) it made a huge difference and she's all about the pool now.
That’s my favourite kind of pants. The top can be hard but pretty (and comfortable) sandals dress it up a bit. They can be pajama or dressy - so versatile! Embrace them!

Glad Grace is enjoying swimming more! I love swimming with our 18mth old, and each week she gets more confident and has more fun! It’s such a fun activity. My husband and I get all the happy feels going. 🥰

So I wear soft boho pants like that, but I know what you mean about the pyjama look. The way around that is to wear a more fitted shirt tucked in (or bodysuit) and then add a belt around (if possible). Then the look looks more intentional; as comfy as a loose fitting shirt is, I find that the loose shirt + loose printed pants = pyjama look. This is also just my opinion, but I thought I'd share it in case you wanted to give it a try!
The candle is pronounced like cuh-pree. I went to that island in Italy last summer. It’s a small island off the Amalfi coast. Highly recommend visiting it. That’s the only way I know how to pronounce it though cause otherwise I’m the worst at pronouncing things properly :))

I have a few comfy, cute pants that also are on the "are they "boho" chic or more pajama vibe" divide, and that's what I have found makes it more of an "elevated" outfit. Still, they're cute with that shirt too & could possibly be "elevated"/less pajama-y if you add some jewelry or some low boots!
I suggest doing the Spanish or the art class. It’s easier to learn a foreign language from a young age, and I think there are a lot of Spanish-speakers in California. Art is also great!

Survivor and BB are my two favorite competition shows and they have a lot in common so I feel like anyone who enjoys one would also enjoy the other
I am a swim instructor and the key is getting her used to having water in her face and near her eyes and putting her full face into the water, as well as getting her used to floating and having water in her ears. If you are able you can have her practice some of these things during bath time. you can gently pour the water over her head and let it hit her eyes and tell her to wipe it away. You can have her blow bubbles in tub as well and practice getting her nose wet. Just suggestions from a swim instructor.
For the pimple you popped: Hero Cosmetics Rescue Balm has saved my life time and time again! The first time I used it, the scab that form SLID off my face after 3 days when it typically scars for months. I will ALWAYS recommend. Hope this helps someone

I'm not a mom, but I was a kid. and I always loved that I could do a physical activity and an artsy activity. So I had gymnastics and music. and later swim and arts. so that I could have two different options. so if grace is doing swim class, i would recommend arts instead of gymnastics. i was also a girlscout (the german equivalent) which was a mixture of both artsy, nature and physical things
Girl so so lucky! Our kids recreation and programming is booked within SECONDS of the registration opening. It is basically the hunger games to get in to anything!
I teach elementary special ed and those type of pants are my favorite clothes to teach in. I typically wear them with a graphic tee and sandals or heydudes

I literally have those same pants and think the SAME thing! They're super comfy which I think makes me feel they're more PJ-like. I also find I have a hard time finding the right colors to go with it too.
Hi! It looks like you are using an electric toothbrush! Just. A heads up you should move it slowly and focus on each tooth for about 5-10 seconds! My dentist taught me that you can actually be too abrasive to your teeth with an electric toothbrush if you are doing the same motions as you would a manual one

Sierra! About the “pajama pants” I have some pants like that. I find wearing a more fitted shirt with them makes them feel less “pajama” to me. I always feel self conscious about them too, but I wear them to work a lot (I work at Old Navy) and always get compliments on them. Where did you get yours? They’re so cute!

You always seem to have so much room in the afternoon. For me I wake him after his nap around 2 /2.30 PM and then after we've had a snack and walked the dog I cannot imagine aslo having a swim lesson , some shopping and somethingelse as we start dinner prep at 5.30 latest and eat by 18.00 latest to have bedtime starting at 7?

It looks a like a really comfy and cute outfit, but I did initially think you were wearing pjs, before you even brought it up. Maybe a different top that isn't as matchy with the pants would make it look less like pjs.

I literally have those same pants and think the SAME thing! They're super comfy which I think makes me feel they're more PJ-like. I also find I have a hard time finding the right colors to go with it too.

It doesn't need a pimple patch if it doesn't have a white or black head, just moisturize it well, even a bandaid over it could help keep it moist.

Hi! It looks like you are using an electric toothbrush! Just. A heads up you should move it slowly and focus on each tooth for about 5-10 seconds! My dentist taught me that you can actually be too abrasive to your teeth with an electric toothbrush if you are doing the same motions as you would a manual one

Sierra! About the “pajama pants” I have some pants like that. I find wearing a more fitted shirt with them makes them feel less “pajama” to me. I always feel self conscious about them too, but I wear them to work a lot (I work at Old Navy) and always get compliments on them. Where did you get yours? They’re so cute!

As a mom of an almost 2 year old myself - I just wonder - what is her dinner / bedtime? You always seem to have so much room in the afternoon. For me I wake him after his nap around 2 /2.30 PM and then after we've had a snack and walked the dog I cannot imagine aslo having a swim lesson , some shopping and somethingelse as we start dinner prep at 5.30 latest and eat by 18.00 latest to have bedtime starting at 7?
