@@tropicalsunshine4689 great question. When I didn’t have a church home, I gave to another church that was feeding me spiritually through online sermons until I did find a local church. Tithing is specifically for the church you attend OR Wherever you are reaping a spiritual harvest (learning from the Word and growing as a believer), you should be financially supporting, as to reward those laborers who are investing in your spiritual growth. Anything else is considered generous giving but regardless, God loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7) so you give as much as you feel The Holy Spirit is telling you to give. So yes, giving to those less fortunate, or to charity, missions, etc. Whatever cause speaks to you the most 💟

How does one tithe if I don’t go to church? Do I give to the poor or those in need?
