That was a great haul. Our last dumpster dive we got some juice bottles, an oscillating fan and a solar light. Took us a few minutes to get all of the pieces of the fan. Hubby put it together and it works. We also got cans of chicken and dumplings, canned pineapple and canned mackerel. That went to the outside cats. Our free pantry won't take dented cans. We ate the chicken and dumplings. When we first moved into our new home, we had no money for groceries. We got a case of Mac and cheese from the dumpster. It kept us fed for a month, when hubby got paid. We did have food from the food pantry and Second Harvest. The Mac and cheese really made the main meals. We also got a carpet cleaner, a storage shelf, cat climbing post, and two garden arches. (Same dumpster, different times) We give a lot of stuff to family, friends or someone that needs it.

That was a great haul. Must of the things you found will come in handy with back to school right around the corner. I must say I'm a little more than jealous about the topiaries. BTW: next time you find those snacks in the large gallon containers, LOOK FOR THE LID! Those containers, when you try to purchase them are 5 bucks or more, and are great for storing things like rice, pasta, etc.
I think what surprises me the most each week is how much food these stores throw away. I am so glad you are saving it for those that really need it. 💞
