Loved this. Hearing vapour be raw and honest is nothing new and for us old school fans we love him for that!
I also remember the days of chilling in a crusty old flat pirate radio. Swear they were the best days 😂 I went to a few different ones. From Romford myself. But Heathway, bow, Canning Town. If you know you know!
I’ve been a fan since before the lime wire days. I’m talking record it on a tape days 😂
No regrets vapour! You didn’t only ride the wave, you paved the way for every kid that watched you spit and was inspired. Rewriting the lyrics so they could give it a go and impress their mates.
Found vapour on instagram and now as a grown up I love watching him and his family enjoy life. Never give up. Your people are still cheering you on.
And the vapour legend lives on, because my kids are now teenagers bouncing at the front of Try Fest knowing all the lyrics to School because their mum taught them well 😂

That was really deep and meaningful, and it was great to hear it end on such a high note and to know that you’re doing well now. Without a doubt, you should be much further ahead than many others in the industry!

I like to think that bringing harry onto cyndicut fm was the slingshot that put him on the radar for where he’s got to…. Probably not but I can only speculate….

      @samcronin8412 5 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

That was Vapour, again not a tune, but one of his force fm shows, It went something like this, and this is from my 90s memory so forgive me if its not 100% correct.
      Myra hindly
      Ian Brady
Rosie west, what a lady (can't remember this bit) she didn't give a shit for mr slim shady,
Where's the 2 kids that killed that baby?
      Jamie buldger, poor little nipper
The Yorkshire ripper weren't killed with a slipper, he was locked up tight told stand and deliver
Give a shiver for anyone who died in the river

GREAT INTERVIEWER! HE ASKED THE RIGHT QUESTIONS.
THE REASON WHY EVERYONE KNOWS VAPOUR AS GARAGE VAPOUR IS BECAUSE HE WAS THE BEST GARAGE MC. IT'S A SHAME THOUGH I FEEL THAT WASN'T ENOUGH FOR HIM AND I FEEL THE NEED TO TRY OTHER GENRES ALTHOUGH THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT ESSENTIALLY ANY DJ OR MC WHO GOES TO THE TOP OF THEIR SKILL ALWAYS STAYS IN ONE GENRE.
DJ ZINC IS AN EXAMPLE OF SOMEONE THAT CONQUERED MANY GENRES BUT HE I FEEL IS AN EXCEPTION TO THE RULE.
IMO WHEN VAPOUR WAS WITJ MARK RUFF RYDER HE WAS VAPOURS STRONGEST PRODUCER AND VICE VERSA. HOWEVER ONCE VAPOUR LEFT MARK RUFF RYDER I FEEL THATS WHERE HE DIDN'T BECOME AS BIG AS HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN.
LET ME MAKE THAT CLEAR VAPOUR DESERVES TO BE BIGGER THAN HE ENDED UP IN MY OPINION ANYWAY.
VAPOUR IS A DON IN GARAGE AND I WISH THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN HIS THOUGHT PROCESS RATHER THAN DABBLING IN SO MANY OTHER GENRES.
I'VE TAKEN THE TIME TO WRITE THIS BECAUSE VAPOUR IS TOP QUALITY.
