I live in randolph county as well. We raise some of the same chickens and turkeys as you. Weve been looking to get our first milk cow and probably a steer. Your land looks much like mine and seeing those pineywoods out there grazing really completed the picture for me. I'm instantly hooked.
Hi, I messaged you on facebook a few minutes ago. But it looked inactive, so I figured I'd reach out here, too. I'm expecting to bring home my first Pineywoods bull next year, he's a lovely mulberry colored boy with an absolutely massive forehead span. I noticed your herd has a large amount of mulberry cattle as well (red back, black sides), and since my family farm's just a tiny step into Virginia from you, I'd love to keep in contact, and maybe purchase a heifer or cow if you'd be in the market when I'm driving up from Georgia with the new bull. It wouldn't be for another year, but I like to plan ahead, haha.
Hey Molly, we couldn't find your msg on FB. Send us a quick email on the contact page of our website and we can stay in touch. Glad to hear you are joining the Pineywoods Cattle community! Here's the link www.ozarkakerz.com/contact.html
