I ate here 24 years ago. I was visiting from Mumbai my nephew studying in Mysore and had my two children accompanying me. Masala Dosay and Idli were so good and I ate so much that I had a tough time walking on the road after breakfast. I would rate Vinayak Mylari's Dosay and Idli as the best I have eaten todate. Expressions of satisfaction on Amanna's face say it all.
Sir, the greatness of these places is that idli and dosa is cooked in every household of the region...but still customers flock in numbers speaks volumes of such places..it's not like it something which u don't eat at home.... So the taste really needs to be spectacular

I am thorough bred Mysorean although settled in the states for the last 16 years..my vacation to India and mysore is not complete with out my customary visit to Mylari...although I must confess that there is some pertinent confusion on which of the 2 mylaris is actually the original one..doesn't matter they both make freaking awesome idli dose chutney and saagu! When we visit Mysuru from Bengaluru, we never miss paying a visit to this place. We are now out of India buty kids still remember the taste and never stop speaking about when we have conversation on dosa.
This restaurant has changed the definition of dosa for a North Indian like me. I had visited this restaurant and waited for half an hour but believe me the wait is worthwhile. Pillow textured idli and mellow dosa to die for. Extremely yum and hygienic. The owner is also humble with guests. Good service too.

There are many tourist attractions in karnataka, specifically around mysuru. They help locals' earnings with their site seeing. Kripal sir ,I'm a huge fan of your channel and I want you tell my personal experience about one such hotel which is at nanju malige circle mysore its KAVERI FAST FOOD CENTER. They serve super great idly sambar , savige bath, and onion dosa. I'm sure you won't regret visiting it. Its been around for about 15 years.
Had visited this place a few years ago. There was a language issue, and we were late. The masala dosa was out of this world. The stuffing was of ridge gourd or some related vegetable. We did not get idli, maybe it was finished. The filter coffee was wonderful.
It is just not the mylari dosai itself but because of cross sectional presentation and review of Kripalji. Hatts off. The only person in the industry who gives part by part description of each n every food item Top class comments. Kripalji. Rumba channagidhe

'Win-aayaka' 'MY'lari, original ri. Illi tinn-ri, items bari moor-ri. One of the better places of Mysuru for breakfast. I had friends who drove 140 kms just for mylari and returned for lunch to blr. Mr. Kripal, take care of your digestive system, we need to see a lot more from you.

Yesterday I went to this hotel. Worth visiting. In case if you eat the 2nd dosa without sagu, you will be charged the same as masala dosa. Also if you order and eat 1 idly you are charged for 2 idlies

We have tried this last week. Masal dosa was not crispy as you mentioned, its like uthappam thickness, not melting as you described. But taste is good.

I went yesterday, walkable distance from Zoo. Taste is good but it's very costly. One has to have min 3 dosa's to fill the stomach.
Yesterday I visit vinayaka mylari. Its great to have masala dose unbilivable taste sooo lucky to have.
