So back in 2004, Microsoft had released Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP 64-Bit Edition. I had been running Server 2003 as a desktop OS because it ran faster than XP. I had discovered that Windows XP 64-Bit had the same build string as Windows Server ( 5.2.3790 ) and decided that I wanted to create a version of Windows XP that was based on the Server 2003 32-Bit code and I had a major breakthrough when Windows Server 2003 SP1 came out. I was able to modify the Windows Server 2003 setup to look and run like it would for Windows XP incorporating all the 32-bit registry hives but using Server 2003 with SP1's binaries. The whole thing would install but run into complications towards the end of installation and then fail. Ironically there did exist a version of Windows XP 32-Bit that was compiled from the Server 2003 codebase, but it was never released. Because of major security issues at the time, XP was heavily modified for SP2 as was Windows Server 2003 with SP1, it was no longer relevant if the Service Pack updates were not able to be included.
Great video! Maybe next you can try swapping Windows 10 22H2 and Windows 11 22H2 registries, maybe Windows 11 will basically become Windows 10 😂. Btw I need to reset my pc and I don't know if installing Windows 10 or 11, I hate 11 but 10 is going eol.
Thanks! About the suggestion, a similar video is coming soon! I would choose Windows 10, it's not dead yet and you can always switch to IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 to have support until 2032. You need a new key for that though. Otherwise, use Windows 10 until eol and then decide if you switch to 11, stay on 10 or take LTSC.
Make a video about installing Windows XP on a Windows 11 machine (by running setup.exe, no rebooting). The method of WINNT32.exe - you have to open it with resource hacker and save it, then delete the old winnt32 and run the modified one
It should be clear from the get go that it would break many things and make OS unusable. Especially considering that XP and Windows 11 are 6 generations apart if we include 8.1. Now my idea is to swap system 32 folders and then swap the registries.
and what if you swap windows 10 registry with the windows 11 one? (also swapping the w11 one with w10), im sure almost no difference will be made, but something might just break

That's not exactly swapping. That's merging.
Swapping would be taking binary hive files and copying them over native ones while booted in WinPE/RE
