I love watching Gitti and Erica perform their unique and special renditions of traditional folksongs from the early to current choices. I think that seeing their journey from teenagers to mature performers give all of us watching a great perspective on how they have grown as entertainers. They have always been unique and special and I'm glad to have discovered their world of music. They were obviously born to do this!
That’s absolutely true David; and what’s also true is that besides their now CLASSIC renditions of such Traditional German songs as “The Faithful Hussar”, these talented & gorgeous sisters have managed to blossom as songwriters not only together, but separated too: one such example is „Otto, Otto; Heute Spiel ich Lotto“ which is a surprisingly funny song about playing the lottery
Thanks to my grandparents i had to watch them with deafening volume. Same with all the Roy Black and Heintje movies. Decades after it i still feel terrorized by Schlager. But i love the terror!
