You wouldn’t call Harry Osborn a rip off when he took up Norman’s Green Goblin mantle and became a more interesting and layered villain than the og.

Not true Thawne when he was the flash of the future was kinda put in jail by barry who traveled to the future bc all the crimes they stopped were comitted by time. Oh shit, I just noticed something interesting. Prof. Zoom and Wally both have contrasting eyes when in costume (Wally has white eyes, Zoom has black) whereas for both Barry and Reverse Flash, you can see their perfectly normal eyes at all times.
It's just zoom but the funny part is Zoom has never encountered Wally with white lenses, as Wally didn't wear his white lenses again after decades till 3 years ago
Zoom has blue lenses on his suit, and they make his eyes look darker and red. But he has no connection to the speed-force, therefore he cannon change his eye color like in the show. He can't phase, and isn't protected by the speedforce while shifting his timeline. That's why his cowl has lenses.
Zoom literally took inspiration from and named himself after Professor Zoom as he believed that it was all the tragedy that Barry Allen had faced at the hands of Professor Zoom that made Barry such a great Flash and that Wally needed his own Reverse Flash to become a better Flash
So Reverse Flash is also known as Professor Zoom but there is also a dude named Zoom who is a completely different dude and the only real difference between both of them is a black visor over the eyes. The fuck were they on when they did Flash's villains?
