Thats really cool i dream to be able to do that! Making a short animation of the caracter at the end would be really cool, it would make the original artwork even more alive
First time i saw your workflow in this video, and i really can't do that. Don't have that much patience for those details. I would also do most of the work only in Zbrush. But you did great. A lot of work, and greatly executed :).

also pretty cool that you can do all that in Blender now, it's a lot closer to working like a professional software package, and it's cool that it's completely free - probably not used in many studios though; but can still be used by anyone for independent/freelance work

Does sculpting characters like this allow for them to be rigged later for animations?
The style of asayris is so similar to tasiams, almost an exact copy of her :(
I know very little about posing 3D models, so please take this with a grain of salt! That said, I think you should have changed the angle of her head while posing, to make her look down somewhat. From head on, it looks like the model is looking above us, while in the artist's original drawing, she is looking directly at the viewer. Again, I know nothing, but it was just something I noticed and I thought I'd mention it! Love your work!

1:56 would be worth noting that this kind of thing can't be a tutorial (in terms of drawing, anyways) because it's in 3D and a newcomer would either struggle (and abandon) or really suffer through the process if they didn't have basics down pat. In very short order, one must first learn to draw, on paper, before they start going after something like this. It's not impossible to jump, but it's ... nowhere near as rewarding nor as easy to do.
Back in art school, we first had to draw on paper before we even touched clay or stone.
