Stanley Kubrick (July 26, 1928 - March 7, 1999) was an American film director, producer, screenwriter, and photographer. He is frequently cited as one of the greatest filmmakers in cinematic history. His films, which are mostly adaptations of novels or short stories, cover a wide range of genres, and are noted for their realism, dark humor, unique cinematography, extensive set designs, and evocative use of music. Kubrick was raised in the Bronx, New York City, and attended William Howard Taft High School from 1941 to 1945. He received average grades, but displayed a keen interest in literature, photography, and film from a young age, and taught himself all aspects of film production and directing after graduating from high school.

Fear and desire is his feature length directorial debut. It is an anti war film but average film compare kubrick standards
Next film seafarers also documentry cant get this also
Killers kiss also above average for his standards
The killing is one of the best filmnoir that i have seen. This is where kubrick's standards were born.
Paths of glory is one of the best film talking about anti war. Greatest film about world war 1 and the ending is knock out.
Spartacus is one of the kubrick film that very different than his others. Because in this film he doesnt have full artistic control. But this one is spectacular.recently released in 4k and one of the best 4k releases
Lolita is the first controversial kubrick film. The novel is also one of the best in last century. This also one his underrated works.
Dr.strangelove is one of the funniest film ever. One his best work. The 4k also very good
2001 a space odyssey is one of the greatest film ever. Best ever scifi in history. If anyone havent seen this yet i recommend it on 4k. The best 4k release ever.
A clockwork orange is also one of the best but very underrated in his career.
Barry lyndon is my favourite kubrick film. The most beautiful film in history of cinema. The cinematography is groundbreaking.
The shining is best horror film ever made.
Full metal jacket is also one of the best films about vietnam war. But this one overshadowed by apocalypse now, platoon, deer hunter .This one release in 4k next month.
Eyes wide shut is last work of kubrick but it was not well received upon release. This also underrated film
Kubrick sought out a film idea that concerned the holocaust.Kubrick's work on Aryan Papers eventually ceased in 1995, as the director was influenced by the 1993 release of Spielberg's Holocaust-themed film schindlers list.Kubrick eventually concluded that an accurate Holocaust film was beyond the capacity of cinema and returned his attention to the A.I film project. It is eventually filmed by spielberg and dedicated to him.
There are two works that should have done by him. Napoleon and aryan papers were never made. Napolean is not made so kubrick did barry lyndon.
