It’s actually harder to find the scenes cut out now. As Nickelodeon airs the uncensored version now. The way I have the cut version is through The Ultimate SpongeBash from 2009. Also the uncensored version has always been on DVD.

The fact that both Patrick and the Mailman *KNOW* that SpongeBob has an essay to write is forever going to be beyond me. Like, how in the hell do they even know?!?! 😂😭💀
It’s easy to assume they’re both part of his dream. They can’t know because he never told them, nor do they have his boating class with him.
Maybe there’s a chance Patrick guessed correctly or Spongebob told him offscreen at some point, but the only way we know Patrick knows Spongebob is busy is because of the beach scene, and from Patrick’s perspective, Spongebob could’ve been doing a whole host of other time-consuming things than just writing an essay.

@@firemiracle the scene where Patrick and Sandy were at the beach and the car crash, those scenes were in the original bearings of the episode but in current reruns, those two scenes were removed to avoid the usual parents complaining

I enjoy watching Spongebob episodes with two other grown men myself. My favorite were Band Geeks, Frankendoodle, Just One Bite and Rock Bottom.

My favorite part was the chair scene! SpongeBob really knows how to make the silliest moments to make you laugh out loud! 😂
This episode brings back trauma of when I had assignments to get done and I waited until the night before to start them, and my parents had to stay up with me to help me on them because I made excuses not to get started. It was such a nightmare, and this episode, though memorable, has a tendency to bring back the trauma. I do not have any PTSD, but when I am presented with a big project or assignment, I always am instantly reminded of how it used to go for me.
