- so today we are doing a full walk-thru review of the Doubletree by Hilton resort at Seaworld Orlando. This large resort is within walking distance to the SeaWorld Orlando theme park and features multiple pools a spa restaurants and other resort amenities. We will be discussing the pro's and con's of this resort as it relates to the villas there we did not review the main tower rooms as we did not stay there so this will not include a review of that particular set of rooms. we did have some issues in the room and with the overall property. Love the great review! It’s great to have a real review and an honest review. So many times you watch reviews that are “ sugar coated” and doesn’t give you the real deal.
I just stayed there last week in the villas on the garden side. It was nice and quiet we enjoyed our stay. The parking is still an issue and they charge $25 a day now for parking and after coming back late from the parks we didnt find parking near our villa a few times. My kids enjoyed the pool and they have new pool chairs from whats in your video. I didnt have any issues with the shower but our room looked exactly as you show in the video and the resort fee is back and they have a very nice free continental breakfast thats pretty good.

I think the tower area would be ok here although I have never stated in the tower the pics look likes much more updated and nicer and this hotel is very very close to SeaWorld so if that is your goal it's still an ok resort if you can get it for the right price. I prefer the Hilton on 528 and I-drive very nice resort. thanks for your support I hope to do many more hotel reviews in the future

Stayed myself and loved it and due to go back this Nov and again in 2023, as mentioned I would’ve mentioned it, the customer service I have received from this hotel have been second to none!
we just had a bad experience but we will return to see if it is better the next time we just give our honest opinion on properties when we go no one pays us and we don't get free stays so its just we we thought and as we have stayed at many properties in Florida we have a few experiences to compare it to also with there being so much competition in Orlando as a resort you just have to do it a little better in my opinion
I so much appreciate this review because my friends and I are supposed to stay there for a week in may so hopefully it has changed

This is our favorite hotel when visiting seaworld orlando. We love the villa rather than staying at the tower.
We are about to re review this hotel we had a much better experience our second go around the tower was nicer but the elevators are very difficult
I stayed at this hotel in 2015 and it was amazing I watched this video for some nostalgia but was very disappointed to hear that it was declined in quality. This was a very good video though and I enjoyed watching this

We’ve stayed here twice in the past. First time room was brilliant, second the room had been poorly cleaned, we found some toe nails on the carpet.
I went to reception and to be fair they were very attentive and moved us immediately.
We that's good to know were you in the villas like us? We plan to go back and revisit this resort we always try to give a resort a second chance any resort can have a bad experience one time. We also stayed at the Hilton garden inn and the Hampton that are within walking distance of seaworld they were both fantastic We did full reviews on both resorts
The first time went we hard a lovely room with hardwood floor that overlooked the main pool area. The second time was a carpeted room which overlooked a car park, not nearly as nice. We are going to try Rosen inn at the pointe on I drive next June, I know it’s nothing special but the reviews generally are very good, clean rooms etc.

We are staying in a junior king sweet for one night in April 2021 before we go to villa in champions gate

I'd like to know if it was just a one time bad experience or if other people have had similar issues at this property.
I’m planning on staying there in July and thanks to your video I called them up and asked them to move me to the main tower and they did at no cost because I’m a Hilton gold member.
Also, their site mentions it but not sure if you had to but daily parking there is $18 a day, right?

I have stayed at this hotel for 23 years and have never had any issues .. please speak to someone they will resolve any issues ..a d no I dont work there I live in the uk .. I would not stay anywhere else
did you stay in the tower or villas I think the reviews from the tower were much better as that part of the property was more updated and nicer I am not trying to keep people from staying here just documenting my personal experience with the property at the time I was there I did note that this was during the covid pandemic so I'm sure the hotel is short-staffed currently and that I did not review the tower portion of the resort my whole experience was from the villas thanks for your comment and I hope you continue to have great experiences here at this resort.
@@ParkHopTillWeDrop ..I have never stayed in the tower in all the years I have been visiting ..3 / 4 times per year for over 20 years .. I really have never been able to fault the resort , staff or service ..the second pool is a children's pool ..and has never been a issue either ..I'm surprised at your findings..but I definitely would have spoken to someone
@@anitaosborne1842 i fully expected the front desk personnel to ask how my stay was but they did not. I'm not one of those people who go around complaining about things so I just left it at that I will revisit this resort in the future to see if things are different I think the location of this resort is good and we had no issues with the staff or many other things about the property I also wish I had more time to perform a more in-depth review but we were only there to basically sleep as we were covering SeaWorld and universals Christmas events the night before and the morning we left be sure to subscribe so you don't miss out on any updated I post and all my other theme park content thanks again for commenting .
Why did you not ask to change rooms and address your comments at the time?
We did the hotel was full also I addressed the issues when leaving and it didn't seem to go anywhere we actually just stayed here the other night as I said in this video I would return to give them a second chance and we stayed in the tower like a bunch of you guys recommended it was a much more enjoyable experience this time a few small issues but we had a good time video coming shortly

@@lizmirc we have passes to all the parks but we have had SeaWorld passes for the last 10 years we really love Seaworld and Busch gardens its a nice little break from the Disney hustle and bustle and we think the food is amazing
