Müthel was a composer who belonged to the German movement called "Sturm und Drang" in which the artists had freedom of expression, and, in this sense, they could experiment with the extremes of emotion, as opposed to the rationalism proposed by the illustration.
A great concert. Müthel is said to have been a last pupil of the blind J.S. Bach for still three months and to have helped him as a copyist and has studied his works.
Mui agradable...
Another amazing find. This is a superb harpsichord concerto from another unknown composer. Played with purpose and guile. A most rewarding listen.
I am very happy to know this!
Thank you very much, David A!!!
😊
Ich bin auch nach einigen Tagen noch immer begeistert von diesem mich aufwühlenden Werk, eines mir früher unbekannten Komponisten, danke!
As I always say, it is very nice to know that you could meet a new composer on my channel. Thank you very much for this news! Enjoy it, Wolfgang!!!!

Thank you very much for the comment, Wolfgang Waim!!!
The influence of JSB is quite clearly evident here nonetheless, singularly delightful.
I don't hear the influence of JS Bach here. This is pure Gallant Style. It's very nice music, thought.
I hear the influence of CPE Bach
