I like to listen to what other fans are saying as I watch the playoffs unfold; and I came across you guys during our series. I think hockey and sport is about bringing people together; so may I just say - I really enjoyed following you; your passion for hockey is evident. Sorry for the slow response, with Fluffy passing I am just now catching up. From the looks of what you all did in FA, you should be right there at the end again. It is possible that you become the mirror image of the Panthers, in the sense that we started slow and busted our ass to make the playoffs and then ran out of gas against Vegas, only to win the following year...Might happen for you all too, gotta admit I have no interest in a rematch, we escaped with the cup but boy that could have gone either way in game 7. See ya next year!

Cardiac Cats strike again. They could not win 4-1 or 4-2. They had to blow a 3-0 lead to win a game 7 2-1. They just had to.

I was at work and listening to the radio broadcast. Hearing Lindsay's raw emotions made it impossible not to cry. That along with the fact that we did a little thing called: WINNING THE STANLEY FING CUP!!!!!! LETS GOOOO!!!
This is amazing, it doesn't even seem real. WE FINALLY DID IT!! FIRST STANLEY CUP IN FRANCHISE HISTORY! WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
I keep thinking it's not over yet, like the Oilers are going to sue for not calling enough BS powerplays for the Oilers.
Because judging by that series, I knew we were going to play good, but what made me lose hope was that the refs were going to rig it for the Oilers with powerplays. And amazingly, they finally called like a normal playoff game with only one BS Oilers powerplay, it's amazing!!!!
As a Blues fan, I totally understand how it feels winning the cup for the first time EVER!!! A huge congratulations to you guys and all Panther fans everywhere. I'm always happy to see a team win their first cup. At least it didn't take 52 years like my Blues did, but 30 years is still a long time. Once again, congratulations.
As a Cats fan I could imagine what it would like to be a blues fan before 2019 but I was rooting for you guys to win it and watching that cup finals of you guys and Boston is what got me into hockey.

That is Sasha ( named after Barkov) He is a one of a kind home made doll inspired by Alice in Wonderland, got him at an auction last fall and he has been great luck ever since.
@@flyingfluffyhockey Then it is truly full of good luck. I’m a Kings fan and have been cheering for the oilers to be squashed, only for the panthers to finally get it done in game 7. After these finals, I can now say that the panthers are another team that I will cheer for in the future. Go Kings! Go Panthers!

Now, im not Panthers fan but, as a Finn, i did support the Panthers and wanted your guys to win. (as i did last year).
I remember when both Ducks and Panthers first played in the NHL, so different and fresh logos, jerseys.
Back in '96, John Vanbiesbrouck was one of my favorite goalies/players, his Panthers mask is legendary, one of the greatest ever.
I cheered Panthers for the cup back then too, didn't happed then. I watched the game 4 live from my TV, in my bedroom, i was in my early teens back then... time flies... It was morning already when Uwe Krupp scored the 3OT game winner, i was sooo hungry, i will remember the feeling the rest of my life, the feeling of that morning hunger :) :) :)
A Finn here too. My story is similar except I rooted for Colorado in 1996 and Roy was my favorite goalie. Vanbiesbrouck’s mask was my favorite too besides Cujo’s.
I was 13 years old back in June 1996 and we were on a vacation in Lapland. My family was sleeping but I watched the whole damn game alone. And boy was I hungry too that morning.
This year I woke up at 3 am to watch the last 4 games of the finals. Not as easy when you’re 41 and you have small kids that wake up at 7 am 😂
I cannot wait until Eetu Luostarinen brings the Cup to Siilinjärvi (his home town) and Kuopio where he played for KalPa (and where I live).

Been waiting for the Panthers to win the Stanley Cup since they were introduced there was a hockey team coming to South Florida as well as a NBA Basketball team also coming to South Florida. So happy that the Panthers won the Stanley Cup GOOD Panthers. 30 years of waiting.

Super happy for you guys had to come back here. Most Vegas fans were rooting for you guys this year once we were eliminated cause we can’t stand Oilers fans. Congrats on your cup and enjoy the glory that is watching your team be champs. I’ll never forget seeing us win it all last year . Something I’ll remember for the rest of my life. I have the front page of the newspaper the following morning framed on my wall. Such a magical experience . Truly. Enjoy it.
Watching this gave me the chills and eyes water up. I started crying during the last 10 seconds and was trying to catch my breath.
Best part of it all is it's exactly what I had hoped to feel and even more. Was so worried that it would be a sigh of relief more than joy when if we won.

When I sat down I realized that I had the table perfectly set up to break everything on it as soon as I jumped up so I moved the table a few inches to my right lol
I didn't watch the whole celebration, did the refs get a chance to make a couple laps around the ice with the cup ?
