Im back to point out more things from these episodes! (Srry for being late i was both sick and lazy XD) 1. This was Subaru's Death after an entire year and you can see his change that he has become more tolerant to the trauma, not freaking out after returning. Also he has started to rely on others for help. 2. This death was one of the most traumatic, (the rabbit one is still the worst since they were eating him from going into his butthole, nose mouth and everything), but he STILL was tolerant. Also, this death in the novels from what I've heard was implied to NOT be from the blood loss or suffocation, instead due to heart attack by simply the exponentially growing fear due to Sirius's authority transferring between Lusbel and Subaru increasingly. 3. At 10:32 she says Lusbel not Subaru. U can even hear her say it. Honestly Crunchyroll has been messing up subs for Rezero. They call Reinhard Master Swordsman when it's supposed to be Sword Saint. Also, Subaru doesn't say Emilia is his Waifu, the more accurate translation (from Muse Asia) is bride. Guess Crunchy just wanted to pander to the normie anime watchers. 4. Both Beatrice and Rachins trusting when Subaru says he needs help dealing with the Witch Cult shows his reputation now. Remember the time Subaru was a nobody with no weight behind his words shouting in the Royal Meeting, yeah he has changed (also fun fact, in the novels, almost all characters their showed their worst sides, anime just cut it all out and made Subaru seem like the bad one. It was sort of supposed to highlight the vulnerability and corruption of the kingdom, the only problem there was everyone had some deeds to their name, while Subaru was just a nobody lame NPCs shouting among the big people). Anyways, now Subaru isn't a nobody, and now the things he does or says has more weight. 5. 15:06 highlights the problem with Reinhard. He is very broken, but he also doesn't have that much intelligence. Like he isn't dumb, but he has avg intelligence. He's just a random guy with too much power. As always, most male characters highlight different versions of Subaru. Reinhard is what Subaru could've been if he was ur avg joe isekai MC with very busted powers. Anyways back to Reinhard, it is very clear he is the strongest (as stated by Tappei), but not the smartest. And not every fight is decided by simply strength. We can't just tell Reinhard to kill all the bad people, since back in S1 it was said that the Royal Guards constantly got fake reports of the Witch Cult and stuff, and the whale too was very unpredictable, so sending Reinhard to false locations would be stupid, and if he does simply fight, he can easily win, but that doesn't mean there's no collateral damage. Iirc, he destroyed a big chunk for eh world when he killed the BoTE (Puck) in the trial where Subaru was seeing what happened when he died. And now, he easily killed Sirius, but there were consequences. Also, he takes all the mana around him, so others can't even protect themselves. So it is very clear Reinhard isn't the solution to everything. Also the question as to why Reinhard simply can't ask for Divine Blessings when he already has so many, thing is he can't. From what I've heard, it's kind of like he can't just go 'I wish could breathe underwater' and get Divine Blessings of it, he needs to go underwater, and then if he is going to drown that's when he gets it. So he can't simply ask for it. 6. 15:44 u can see Priscilla notice the way Subaru was acting, and alerted Emilia. We know the Priscilla isnt just a black and white character, both this and the time she kicked Subaru when he was going to lick her feet showed he other side. And honestly, she was the one responsible for bringing Subaru in the Royal Meeting, so in a way, if it wasn't for her, Subaru may have never had a chance to get humbled. All in all so far, she like to cause trouble and make things interesting, but she is still not a bad person. 7. 19:11 I think she is not actually getting mad at Emilia, she is getting made at Satella, who she thinks is Emilia, since Petelguese was infatuated by Satella, so she thinks Emilia is the one that Petelguese was in love with. 8. 22:07 Regulus actually saved Emilia, otherwise Sirius would've burned her. (Continuing) 9. A refresher of the holders of the corresponding Witch Factors- We got the following Sin Archbishops (know that these are kind for the modern witches)- Petelguese (Sloth) Sirius (Wrath) Regulus (Greed) Lye Batenkaitos (Gluttony) Capella (Lust). We know Satella isn't dead (Envy). Petelguese asked Subaru if he was Pride, implying that there's no Archbishop for it (this was an year ago, things could've changed, we don't know yet) Hector (Melancholy) and Pandora (Vainglory) seem to be very mysterious so no info abt their Witch Factors for now. Gonna be discussing smthin related to this next episode. 10. *Who's Otto?* 11. Garf'e getting more character development let's go. Nothing much to add except the reason he chose to not tell Rishia the truth so that she doesn't feel guilty abt leaving her kids behind and also that she now has more responsibility. He doesn't wanna burden her. This will also make him move on from his past. 12. Gonna discuss Capella next episode. Remember, in Season 1, it was mentioned that there was a long lost princess from Luginica who went missing but was told to have an absolutely rotten personality. Now there's a sin Archbishop calling herself Capella Emerada "Luginica" 👀👀 also the reason why there's a whole royal selection going on is because the entire Luginica royal bloodline was wiped out... Hmmm, I wonder if this is all one big coincidence, or if this Capella person is a lot bigger deal than she seems to be
Some missing context to what Regulus said here is that despite saying he'd make Emilia his 79th wife, Regulus's total wife count is 291. However, most of them are dead. Only around 50+ of them are still alive. All of the others he either murdered or they committed suicide. There's a reason why he said 79th wife directed towards Emilia. They might explain why, in a later episode, given they had skipped the context that the novel explained already in the anime
Regulus is an asshole ofc, but he is AMAZINGLY written asshole, admit it :D And, as for "triggers"... I still don't figured out what triggers Sirius ability, but did you noticed before that in every single scene with Regulus he was attacked first buy someone BEFORE he started to... well... rip people apart? So, this is my theory about Regulus - it is a part of his ability, he SHOULD be under attack or smth., otherwise he just can't use his "authority". Just like in episode 1 of this season, when Emilia politely apologized to him, he just peacefully went away.
