Great job! Do you mind explaining your philosophy behind your sends? I'm having trouble following what audio sources go where as I'm trying it out in my own DAW. For instance, the blue SNARE mix-track - is it being sent the top/bottom directly from the GDD plugin or is it an overall snare bus or something else? Same goes for the TOMS and KICK. Again, absolutely top-notch job on the tone!
Do you mean the DVERB2 bus? If so it's being sent from Kick and Snare top then goes into the ROOM bus, it just for an extra room sound basically. If you want you could ask me over email and I could explain that more clearly.
Those are pre-fader. I usually use pre-fader on fx sends, because I want the signals to be independent. For example, when I automate the bus volume, it doesn't change the amount that has been sent to the fx sends. But It's not a strict rule, you can do however you want if you know what you're doing.
Yes, as you can see in the video I used processing on the drum bus and the master bus. I use what is called top-down mixing, where you mix into processing on the master bus. You should watch Nolly mix tutorial which he explains the concept clearly.
