    Thanks a lot! I'm glad, the instructions of the video worked perfectly, and the screen looks excellent. The step-by-step explanation was very well done, and you really did a great job.

    It sure would be nice if they would stop making the screens out of tempered glass and use polycarbonate instead but you know then they wouldn't make money off of new phones every 6 months when somebody shattered their screen

    Hello, I damaged my a03s and so the screen responds to touch but shows only gray lines. Thanks for this tutorial!

    A little bit of alcohol and a cotton swab makes taking the volume button off a lot easier. Just add a tiny bit of b7000 to the new frame before putting it on.

    Be extremely careful with this part 10:00! Some people put too much glue/adhesive in here that you could rip the whole part in two. Again, be very careful.

      Since I've had to change my son's screen now a few times now and my neighbor has the same phone and I had to changer hers for her two just a month ago, I have two things to note about the power / Volume button ribbon.
      1) under the volume button pair is a metal plate, make sure you get under the plate (i.e., between the plate and phone from) and not between the PCB and the plate. Also being a metal plate, you can also be a little more forceful here without risk of damage as long as you are between the plate and the phones frame.
      2) should you need a replacement button ribbon assembly, watch because there are some that are being sold as being the correct ones for the A03s SM037U (United States version) and it is not correct and will *NOT* work. If you look closely at the frame and the button ribbon assembly, you will notice that the frame has two alignment pins and the ribbon cable has two U notches that straddle around the Pins. The incorrect aftermarket ones have round holes and they are offset to the wrong side (they are offset to the Screen side but the pins in the frame are offset to the back cover side).

    Don't you have to put the sim card back in? This phone will work without it?

      Android phones without SIMs act just like WiFi tablets. They'll need to put the SIM back in to make calls and use mobile data; but, everything else will work just fine.

    Are you able just to replace glass and not frame?

    • @CJ-ty8sv
      @CJ-ty8sv 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes but but for the few dollars more that it cost, its not worth the hassle because you still have to take the phone apart to an extent to be about to be able to unhook the display / digitizer ribbon cable and feed it though. By time you do that, you are already half way to just changing out the frame / screen assembly and as mentions, the complete assembly is only a few dollars more because the display / digitizer assembly is the most expensive part of the assembly.

      @alexhine7884 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you're talking about just the glass and not the digitizer or led portion, yes, it's possible. But really not worth it. You need a phone vice, a heat gun, a wire separating tool, and uv reactive glue to put the new glass on.
