Sorry for the 2 week break from posting... To make up for it, I have 6 BANGer videos ready to go: Montreal day 2, Barcelona & Paris w/ Ethan, 2 insane Hustler videos, and a $15k pot vs Scotty Nguyen!! LETS GOOO!!!
@14:28 so the dude jam $1k not thinking a possibility of Jack-X holding@@, I heard playground was weak, didn't know it was that wild in $2/$5; or maybe because it was a meet up game?
Great episode, too bad it couldn't have gone more your way! You should check out Vancouver if you're ever thinking of coming back to Canada. Amazing weather here most of the year and some pretty good casinos (Parq & Grand Villa). Keep up the awesome vlog!
ok wolfgang this is a classic case of getting married to your hand and not considering what your opponent may have. yes u r probably the better player but u cant let that be a factor in your decision here. u r in position!!! of this player and he is betting for you!! u should absolutely call only unless a king hits of course. once he bet 300 on the turn u must ask yourself why is he doing that? could he have a queen? now a good cheap tactic to use against a player like this is to say to them on the turn "ill just call only lucky." in hopes that he slows down and thinks on the river who knows maybe the bet is only 300 or even a check thinking he is out kick in which a check back would be the play there considering the show down value and the size of the pot. in hindsight, dont assume the weak are weak. play the situation as well as the player. good luck!
The last time I played @ The Playground was 5 1/2 years ago and from the look of things, it is still one of the best poker rooms that I have sampled….quality dealers, great floor staff, excellent food options…It is a shame that you did not have a good first day but that is poker..great video….keep on keeping on
Hard to complain about a free steak, especially at a casino (the best I've done was free rubbery shrimp and chicken tenders), but see if they can get a better crust on it next time. 😉 (Usually the free food is a meal that someone else rejected for some reason, so they give it away rather than throw it out.)
If you thought the Aces v KQ river call was a coin flip you call bc you aren’t flipping for $1250, you’re putting in $1250 to win $1250+1600(pot after the turn). You only need to be correct 40% of the time for the call to be profitable
I have a question Wolfgang.....what do you do to remember the details of the hands you have on the video, like remembering everybodys position and shit. I ask cause I'm gonna start vlogging the home game I play on Fridays. Any tips would be appreciated...LETS GOO!!! BANG!!
whenever i encounter a player like that, i don't play their game. i just let the odds level them. if he wants to gamble, he can do it with someone else
Hey brother, JT from halifax. Unfortunately our casino fucking sucks and no fun poker is what they are all about. We can't even have a phone on the table or we won't get delt cards!!!!! Lol so lame. But alot of player's travel to playground for good action (I've never been). Hopefully I get there in the next month or so. Keep grinding brother best of luck!!!!
i dont think u made a mistake on that ace jack of diamonds hand. the caller could be thinking the same thing u r with lucky raising blind. in fact, if i were you at that point, i would have been concerned that he had a very strong hand! as it turn out he had a good hand and i dont think he would have folded if u reraised. so in hindsight, u saved money thanks to the blind raise from lucky.
Drinking all the shots is VERY FOOLISH, do it after poker not while playing. Poor decision to fold the AA hand maybe with a clear head you would have made the right decision. Probably the difference between a winner and a loser.
Bro..not getting the money one way or another with AA in a 4b pot on that board is just….I don’t know what to tell you. Flushes, 6x hands, and 2P’s are almost non existent in this sequence barring a true degen maniac of an opponent. Sets aren’t even a thing either, 5/10 live players get KK all in for 300bb pre and any other is just a really big outlier scenario. And even then degens who call light pre are value betting far wider than they should and bluffing at way too high of a frequency to ever fold. Don’t put 3k on the table if it’s not all in play because it 100% wasn’t if you considering a fold there let alone actually doing it.

Folding Aces in that game with all those gamblers is a disastrous decision, sorry but if youre beat youre beat, no waya fold ever!!!
Looking forward to the next videos, hope they get you out of this mess (1400 CAD down, so about 1100 USD loss).
When are you posted the video from the Reserve?
Damn son I almost put out a amber alert! I thought you was missing!!!! Come to Boston billiards in New Hampshire
Hi Wolfgang, I heard you say that when you’re the raiser and between two opponents your default strategy is to always check flop. Can you explain why?
Welcome to Canadian poker. You should make the trek to Alberta. Multiple poker rooms and lots of action.
nice close of my home :) people are nice at playground they love bring chip in the middle by knowing peace
Great to see you at the PlayGround. Top notch poker room and looking forward to the next video!
i had a great time. floor staff, food, people, action were all top notch!
We’ve been waiting for this video to come out! Yay!!
How can I attend one of these meetupS? I love the action
action is always the best! just stay posted here on the vlog and see if im coming somewhere close to you!
Came here to see what does playground poker looks like, turns out I see my favorite poker player went there 9 months ago. Wolf gang the boss
Another great video!!! Thank you and keep up the great work Wolfgang
you got it randy!
Keep grinding... awesome content as usual
thanks!!
Great video. The aces fold. You gave big respect to Tariq
big respect lol
Is it weird playing with a camera crew following you around?
Crazy fold with AA. I put him on AK after he checked the turn.
tough decision when you can’t see the cards and also when you’re stuck a bit.
Same. Figured AK with K of clubs. I don’t see how he folds there.
When he min clicks on the flop. I would have three bet to 900 and if he shoves I’m snap calling.
@@nathanspivey204 yeah why not just get stacks in at that point? idk why he played AA so passively. That was the best hand to get un-stuck
@@EternalSoul222 exactly that would have turned the -1400 or whatever night to a win. Even if he has a set you drawing to the nut flush.

Wolfgang, please let me know where you buy your poker hats with KK and 77. My name is KK, so I would love to get one.
going to announce that soon in a video!
Hahaha feels weird to see the staff of my local poker place in a video wish I was there
How do you go about getting money to Canada?
You can bring up to $10k with you. Or transfer.
Hey I’m new to poker how dose opponent have losses TT vs 99, having full house for both! Pls explain 11:05
Three 9s with two sixes is better than three sixes and two tens.
Lucky looks like Mikki.. But plays a bit better.
13 days without a video.. I felt boring 😂

Playground is the best place to play poker in Canada.
Crazy session.... I thought u should/could have shoved when he raised u on the flop, bc u had the Ac.... but I definitely understand

Here we go, been waiting for your videos...
This ones a good one Richard!
He was smart I min raise flops I completely miss on a lot. People always think it's strong, also folds out reg continuation bets.
Dude let’s go! I literally was thinking last night like where has wolfgang been?!
yeah mix of traveling internationally and the my editor's computer had to be upgraded. but now we're back!
Hard to complain about a free steak, especially at a casino (the best I've done was free rubbery shrimp and chicken tenders), but see if they can get a better crust on it next time. 😉

The food at this place is comped as long as you have a player card and are playing cash games. It’s bonkers

was just talking about playground with my friend, what games do they have?
great content watching from Toronto!
Enrico (the best poker manager) had an awesome suit.
Your read was right he wasn't bluffing. He thought a king was good.
Lucky 🍀 is not very lucky 😂

If you’re filming, you can see where the button is and just go from there. Also if you remember where you are at, you can just count from there too
yeah combination of what ben said but also i have a 2nd phone that i take notes on after each notable hand! gl with the vlog!
whenever i encounter a player like that, i don't play their game. i just let the odds level them. if he wants to gamble, he can do it with someone else
That AA was rediculous. You had $350 in preflop.

Love to see your up in Canada ! Hope you get good hospitality and enjoy your stay . I’m Canadian so hope you run good !
did not run good but there's always next trip!

Wonder what Lucky does for a living

From Montreal here, the food is amazing there. The restaurant is called "The Rail "
Good but Overated food there
Poker and alcohol do not go together, you can enjoy them separately with just a little discipline Wolfgang - tough love but I want the best for ya bud
Good morning
Good morning Johnie!
scared money can't win!!!! I would have snapped call the AA hand.
Those 2 finger salutes should never be done in the UK....it's our version of flipping the bird.
I live about an hour away and was always wondering about checking it out. I think I will now!
Where did you get that hat bro?
where do u find these players lol he jammed all in on a 4 liner w the bottom end after u bet 700 lol. donkeys come to philly and see how we play
🎉 BANGG 💝
Montréal best place for POKER ! ♥️ ♣️

Nice video! Un-Luckyy beats 😂👊🏼
Lucky did what to 6 7:08
Wolf gang is shhhhhhhht
😂
Q5 lucky is the man.
You over thought that aces hand way too much..... set yourself up with the I know that you know that I know..... the shots definitely got too ya
That button is annoyingly huge
Guy is wearing a One Punch Man hoodie, dead tell he was value owning himself there on the river with KQo
I live 20 min away from Playground Poker, great place. Great video!
On that kjs hand I can't believe he jammed with the low end of st8
Robbie is J4
Canada 🇨🇦
The best place to play poker in North America in my opinion is Playground poker in Montreal.
$18 rake yay
oh boy...
Why are they blind shoving. Trying to look cool?
I've shoved all-in blind in my 0.10$-0.20$ home game for 20$. I imagine it's the same shoving 2000$ for someone 100 times richer than me.
A pair of nine is very crucial hand. This hand only beat your higher pair opponent with a mind of set.
The bang sticker thing is super cringe
Crushed by Lucky...haha. Hope you got the chance to bust him the following day!
